Went back to work today and I certainly wished I'd stayed home! First, because I brought a cold from Connotations so I felt kinda crappy and second - well, to be honest and to make it simple, I just didn't want to go to work :-p

Terri saved my sanity by mailing me all day - with some nice pressies like this vid of Frank and Gerard kissing on stage, which certainly helped brighten my mood ♥ ♥

She also mentioned Brendon drumming and as soon as I'm posting this, I'll go and pester her about it. Brendon drumming? Should be absolutely lovely! Mind you, Brendon Anything-ing always makes me happy. Not that I'm obsessed with him or anything!

I'm trying to debate what to do tonight. I have so many things to watch, it's almost an embarrassment of riches. I've downloaded N3 5x01, Pushing Daisies 2x01 - I can't use PD for that show because, unlike with 'SPN', I read it the French way, ie 'pédé', which means 'fag' so that just won't do. I'm condemned to always write the whole title. Though, come to think of it, do people shorten it to PD? I think I'm always seeing the whole title...

Where was I again? Oh yeah, my downloads. Are also sitting on my HD The Mentalist 1x02 and T:SCC 2x02, 2x03 and I think 2x04 - am I behind or what?

And I still have to watch The Fall. Oh and Shelter. And because Connotations gave me an itch for some Dark Angel - due to a funny Logan/Alec vid - I treated myself with the complete s2 box set. I used to have the first part of it on real!DVD and the second half on burnt!DVD and now I have the whole thing in one shiny box set. Life is good.

I also looked for 300 - again, because of a vid. Yes, I'm easy - but couldn't find the DVD. Oh, well. Next time!

I've never seen Pushing Daises as PD either, come to think of it, and there are plenty of people talking about it on my flist.

I have to rewatch 300 again too. Saw it at the theater and own the dvd but haven't rewatched yet. And some Dark Angel would go down easily now as well, it's been ages.

Not downloading anything at the moment, apart from SGA, but maybe should try to make some time for it after all :P

And I've been hoping to go to Connotations for years but haven't had time/money yet, so I'm immensely jealous of you :P You going back next year?

Those vids always make you want to watch the original material, it's evil! And I've never seen 300, as surprising as it might sound - being the huge David Wenham that I am.

Ouch, SGA, you say? I tried many times to get into that show but I just can't.

I finally watched The Fall and it was gorgeous! It made me cry a couple of times, too. Lee Pace was wonderful in it. And the little girl was absolutely perfect!

I know all too well. I had the same reaction. Of course, I had already seen 300. Still, the vid gave me new appreciation for the movie I felt had been overrated.

Another vid I saw at con-txt was another Madge tune, Papa don't preach for TW. Have you seen? OMG, I tried so hard not to like it, but it is just adorable. Very cleverly done.

I use "PD" and you know what? It had never occurred to me that it could be taken as something else than pushing daisies lol And I watched the ep and it was gooood to see them all again! (also, The Fall made me lusty for Lee Pace in a way "PD" never did. Maybe it's because of all that crying ... erm >.> )

Do you own the 300 dvd and lost it or something? because I bought a copy, I could lend it to you if you wanted!

Je viens de regarder The Fall et j'ai adoré ! J'ai pleuré comme une madeleine mais ça valait le coup. Moi qui adore qu'on me raconte des histoires, j'étais servie. Et je suis accro à ces films qui se regardent comme un poème en image.

Lee Pace était génial dans ce film ; et je suis d'accord, il pleure vraiment bien. Non seulement ça mais je trouve qu'il sait très bien crier aussi. J'adore ces acteurs/actrices qui crient d'une telle manière que ça me fait toujours quelque chose au ventre.

Et puis alors la gamine, je l'ai adorée aussi !
