What Made Me Happy (Yesterday)

I wanted to post this entry yesterday but I think it was cursed because I had to re-do it about a dozen times. I'm trying again - to see if aforementioned curse has been broken.
So. What made me happy yesterday - and still does today, I guess :
1. Most of our co-workers are away for a three-day seminar - Boss Man included - and though they're all pretty cool - Boss Man included - it's always nice to have some peace and quiet. Work is still hectic but it's done in a quieter atmosphere - except for how I need to edit this part because today? Might be a sloooow day.
2. In part due to #1 I managed to work almost undisturbed on a project I had yesterday and not only did I meet the deadline, but I actually pwned it because I finished early \o/ It's always nice when you feel all accomplished :-)
3. It snowed! Again! Third week in a row we get some snow, this is nothing short of a miracle. I'm more and more hopeful of getting some better snow later on, ie snow that sticks and makes everything white and oh so pretty *hopes*
4. I've listened to Folie à Deux and I love it! So, at first, I'll admit that I sorta listened to 20 Dollar Nose Bleed in a loop, thus making it sound like the whole album was, in fact, made of just one song - but what a song! - but yesterday morning I finally listened to the rest and oh, it's fantastic! I already have some favourites - in addition to 20 Dollar Nose Bleed, obviously - but the figures might go up very soon.
5.
angeliksmall came to my place yesterday - we decided to make that a weekly occurence, a sort of Cookie & Mouse Tuesday - except it might happen on other days than Tuesdays but whatever. We've mainlined series one of The IT Crowd and it's official, this show should come with a warning "might cause death due to too much laughing". It's hilarious! And I know I said Moss was my favourite, and he still is, but Jen is running close because she's all kinds of awesome and she cracks me up and I love her. A lot ♥ ♥ Not that I don't love Roy, btw, but Moss and Jen are #1.
6. I decorated my Christmas tree, so yesterday while we were having a nice little Starbucks, I lit it and the living room basked in a lovely Christmassy atmosphere. Also, we gave each other our presents so they were under the tree for a while and it was quite a lovely sight. Mine is still under the tree, obviously, so it's still a lovely sight. Yay presents!
