castalieHero Corp is rubbing off on me, I believe; I think I'm developping my own kind of superpowers! I just have to look at someone and they will give me what I want. Like, yesterday? We were having lunch with a couple of co-workers and P. was eating an orange... it smelt really good and I was looking at it and thinking of maybe trying the puppy eyes on her so that she gave me a slice? And that's when she looked at me and, just like that, without a single word exchanged between us, she offered half of her orange to me! I think from now on I'll call myself Captain Yeux Doux \o/
Still on the subject of work; Cookie and I are turning our department into TV Show Central. There's been some nice exchange of dvds the past few days; I burnt Being Human for J. who also got T:TSCC s1 via Cookie. I lent my copy of Pushing Daisies to P. who, in turn, gave me the first season of The L World. Nice!
Unrelated now; a little meme. It's Friday, I'm home and the weekend is here, a meme is just perfect for lazying around.

1. Make a list of 5 things you can see without getting up:
One of my gazillion Starbucks mugs. One of the two Panic at the Disco photoscrazybutsound made for me. angeliksmall's prune blanket - I do have friends I haven't met on-line and, in fact, have known all my life, I promise! My mobile. My Rubik's Cube.
2. How do you style your hair?
I don't. Or, say, I just straighten - or try to - my fringe because it's so curly in its natural state that it usually looks silly. And I just leave the curls all around my head be because, well, I do like curls when they're nice and, anyway, I just have no control over them at all, so.
3. What are you wearing now?
My comfy, home clothes : Threadless hoodie, a Totoro tshirt under it, sweatpants.
4. What's your occupation?
I work for the New Information and Communication Technologies department at the university.
5. Do you nap a lot?
Nope. Not unless I'm sick or seriously exhausted.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
My cousin Ludivine; we met after work.
7. What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Bandom: Panic at the disco mostly at the moment, MCR. And Supernatural: RPS mostly, though Sam/Dean are read a lot too, of course.
8. What was the last thing you ate today?
Cinnamon roll (from Starbucks, first time in around two weeks, I think) Re: when I met with my cousin.
9. What was the last text message you received?
Oki, jtattends à linterieur from Ludivine.
10. What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Livejournal. Gmail. And I guess google; I'm always looking for something or other over there. I also use del.icio.us a lot. And I listen to Virgin Radio when I'm at work so that's one more site I visit daily - only it's daily when I work, not daily as in, even on vacation or during my days off.
11. What was the last thing you bought?
Not to sound like a broken record or anything but it was the cinnamon roll (with a grande white mocha) that I got at Starbucks
12. What are you listening to right now?
Prehistorik Park on the telly. The narrator's voice is dubbed by the same guy who dubbed Richard Burgi in TS and his is one of my favourite dubbing voices. Incidentally, Nigel is dubbed by the guy who dubbed Richard Dean Anderson in, well, whatever show he played.
13. What do you think about before you go to bed at night?
Generally, I go to bed when I'm already dead on my feet so most of the time I don't really have the time to think of anything before I fall asleep. But if I am still awake enough that I need to wait for sleep to grab me, I guess I'll just think about... whatever? I don't know, whatever I'm thinking about when I go to bed.
14. What is the last CD you bought?
Folie à Deux, IIRC.
15. What is your favorite weather, and why?
Cold! Crisp! I love when it's cold and bright and sunny. That's my favourite weather, and a reason why I love winter so much.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I'm going to be extremely un-original here but I'd say violin or piano.
17. How are you?
Fine, thanks for asking. A bit tired and feeling lazy tonight but fine :-)
18. Say something about the person who tagged you
She has no shame, which is something that always amuses me but also an aspect of her personality that I love.
And now, off to read Panic and J2 fics; always a very relaxing way to end the week, methinks.
