castalieHad an awesome weekend and I'm having a quiet (fannish) Sunday evening; I watched SPN 5x02, caught up with Glee (I still hadn't watched 1x02 and 1x03, how wrong was that?) and I'm planning on watching Merlin 2x01 and then finishing The Big Bang Theory s2.
SPN, first. Hee how much am I loving this new season? AWHOLELOT! I'm going to enjoy the ride, oh yeah. I love SPN so much, I'm always impatient and a bit anxious before a new season starts because I don't want to lose interest, but with the way things started with those two first episodes, I don't see that coming anytime soon, thank you Kripke!
Speaking of, another 'thank you, Kripke' for answering a question I had after watching 5x01. Last week when I was discussing the episode with Cookie, I was wondering whether the Enochian markings would be visible on an X-Ray. Turns out they are! And they're very pretty. I wonder if someone translated the symbols on the boys' ribs yet? Hopefully they do mean something.
This episode is one of those that took me more than 42 minutes to watch due to frantic rewinding of scenes. And I must have made that scene with Castiel at the hospital last, like, ten minutes? But it was so good I had to rewind it. Many times. I just - let's make a list, shall we?

Incidentally, loved Bobby's "stop with the foreplay". And, also, did Dean call Castiel "Chuckles"? Speaking of quotes, I loved Dean's reference to Lotr at the end :-)
Ellen was awesome as ever - and how good it was to see her again! Her reaction at seeing the boys cracked me up, btw. Rufus was awesome too, and I cheered on Jo.
As for Sam and Dean, I wonder how many times they're gonna break my heart before the season ends - rhetorical question, I know the answer, obviously. This is SPN, so the answer is "many, many, many times". Seeing them so out-of-synch is downright painful. And they're going their separate ways now? Damn you, Kripke! That is a pretty good development in the way it ups the angst but can I say 'OUCH'? Please to be bringing the boys back together and mend their broken hearts soon, ok? Except not too soon because ANGST GALORE YAY \o/

Another couple of ♥ ♥ for Glee which is rocking my socks off (wish me luck getting them back on! [/TBBT ref] Here's (yet) another show where I love everyone - they're all cracked-up in the head and I love them for it. Ep 1x03 in particular made me fall for Kurt and Mercedes even more. I'm crossing my fingers so that the show doesn'g get canned. Whenever something "different" comes up, I fear for it. Hopefully, this won't be another Pushing Daisies *fingers crossed*

- Uses a cell phone now (that is pretty awesome).
- Doesn't recognise humour (no-second-degree!Castiel is so cute, "He's not on any flatbread" ♥)
- Is on a quest! To find God! (that makes me shiver, the faith he has in God - but someone has to, right? I'm with you, Cas, btw, don't worry!)
- Is enraged that he basically lost everything for Dean (Poor woobie!)
- Lost most of his mojo, but...
- ...still has his Dom voice on while at the same time...
- ... remembers how to quietly beg Dean to get what he wants. He definitely still has Dean wrapped around his little finger - who else could have made Dean hand them Teh Amulet? WHO ELSE?

Wow, listen, I was watching the episodes earlier and thinking, ok, there's no way that Finn will ever end up with Kurt and then I realised that there was a solution... for Kurt to end up with Puck. Because that boy? I think he's always bullying Kurt because he's trying to over-compensate. He's in total denial. But maybe one day he'll realise that being gay isn't so bad... and then realise that his bullying Kurt had deeper meanings. Then he'll need to make amends. And good luck with that! But there might be some hope.
