Drive-by entry to link to two videos that I think the flist might appreciate, namely this Kiss-in in Paris (Les Halles, to be exact) against homophobia, which made me feel all gooey inside and Ash's True Love 1980, which was fun, if only because I was really curious to see if it was just me or if there were really going to be some boykissing at one point - you know how slashers are, always seeing subtext pretty much everywhere? Then the clip ended and I got my answer...

Ok, now, off to watch the new TBBT for some geeky hilarity.

So, I gotta bug you for a sec here. =)

The fist vid was freaking adorable (dimples & boykissing! 'dream a little dream of me'! also, boykissing! and girlkissing, aww! and boykissing! and the random straight couples who were all 'look, it's for the greater good, let's make out'! and did I mention the boykissing? =D); but the second vid? Oh, my! *FLAILS*

So, I read the comment before I clicked (but just skimmed, so I kinda caught the general idea of 'same-sex-kissing'); and the thing is, the first dude is androgynous -- I thought he was a girl at first! And I was all "yeah, she's checking out the chick in that seems-aloof-but-is-totally-tuned-into-the-other-person kind of way", and then the cheerleader leaves all huffy and the 'girl' doesn't look away from the jock, and I was all 'whuzza?! O_o'; and then the camera pulls back a bit, and the shoulders and the boob-lackage-- OMG it's a BOY! And he's totally going to the bathroom and AWWWW! *squeals like a demented seal*

So, in conclusion: I HAVE THE FREAKING VID ON REPEAT, IT'S BRILLIANT; and also: expectations can totally mess with your perception. ^_^

...and I'm leaving before you kick me out for yapping incessantly. >.>;

Lol You can 'bug' me as much as you want, this was quite a lovely comment to find in my inbox; full of squeeing, what's not to love?

And, yeah, he is androgynous, all right, I can see why you got confused at first. Only makes the suprise at the end even more surprising, doesn't it? Though girlkissing would have worked really well too, obviously!

The surprise rocks either way; but I gotta admit, I'm just a teensy bit biased in favor of the boykissing. Yeah, it's horrible, but I can't help myself. *sniffs dramatically*

I loved the Kiss-in, such a feel good vid, although it's a shame that this sort of event is still needed.

And the Ash vid was fun! I can see what you mean about the subtext, although obviously I knew that there was going to be kissing after your comment ^_^!
