castalieI totally found the solution to clear up my schedule and find time to catch up with my shows! Be sick (another cold), cancel Saturday plans et voilà; Supernatural and FlashForward and White Collar have been watched \o/
So I watched SPN 5x10 and I cried. I always knew that Bobby and Ellen and Jo were potential cannon-fodders in that show (I mean, who isn't, right?) but I wasn't expecting to see Jo and Ellen kick the bucket in the same episode! I was crying when Jo exposed her plan to sacrifice herself, crying again when Ellen told her she was going to let the hell hounds get in and therefore die with her and then crying some more when it finally happened. It was just heartbreaking, how Jo all but begged her mom to let her be an adult and do this, the way they smiled at each other through their tears. And Ellen's "I'll always love you, baby" and her "that's ok, that's ok, you're my good girl" at the end. Oh, SPN what you do to me!
We'll have to wait till January for the rest, now? SPN, you do kill me all the time! I watched the promo for 5x11 and I'm quite impatient to see what the actual episode will be like *bounces*
I also watched White Collar 1x05 and that show continues to be the cutest thing. I'm completely in love with the Pete-Elizabeth-Neal clan. In some scenes, it feels like Neal is Pete's unruly and annoying little brother, but one that Elizabeth and Peter love anyway, because they know he's good people - they're just waiting for him to be good all the time, is all. Loved the whole "it's a start" "yeah, it's a start" moment ♥ ♥
Oh and again with the fake!French people! "On peut peut-être avoir un peu de la musique ?" Is grammatically wrong. And I don't know anyone who ends up their sentences with "n'est-ce-pas ?" in an non-ironic way - especially not young people. But whatever.
And something else I love? How Neal is smaller than Peter! I mean, I always thought the guy was really tall because in Traveler he looked like a giant next to his pals but here he's the one looking up and just, yay! My size difference kink, let me show you it :-)
FlashForward now. It made me so happy! I'd been waiting for that backstory since the show premiere and it was even better than I thought! I knew Bryce's reason for embracing his flashforward in such a way had to be good. It always seemed almost, ok, not mystical but close? I don't know, it just seemed pretty deep. And I get it now. It broke my heart to hear his reason for wanting to kill himself was the stage 4 cancer but his "I have something to live for now" was made much more moving. And Keiko! Insta!character love, wow.
I teared up at the very end, it was a beautiful scene. Their meeting (well, future meeting, you know what I mean) was so moving! I lapped it up.
Also! See? There are Japanese restaurants in the US! But Bryce had to go to Tokyo to learn everything he learnt so, ok, I'll try to forget the idiocy of the whole "look at her, it has to be Japan". Plus, the whole Japanese speaking thing did hint at a Japanese setting. But Nicole didn't know that so I still think her "deduction" was stupid. But whatever. Keiko-Bryce (Keiko/Bryce) for the win! ♥ ♥
I know there were other story-lines but er, I sorta focused on theirs, sorry - so this was a 100% biased not!review. It happens.
As for now *checks clock* I have some time before heading off to Paris so I'll catch up with Glee *nodnod*

I mean, of course he would be considering his former 'job' but it's a joy to hear him talk about it every time, anyway.
