Prezzies, SG, TS and Saiyuki - yes, in just one post.

The ever so generous stacy_l sent me not one, not two but five SG comics!! And the covers are gorgeous! In particular the one with Daniel *g* Thank you so so much! I'm always delighted to receive presents, but the timing this time? Just perfect!

And my sekrit lover princess_bunny sent me another one of her sekrit presents too, so I can't tell you more than that, guys, sorry - suffice to say that it's brilliant as well, thank you, girl *tackleshugskisses*

Back to SG now and because I'm apparently writing one hell of a disjointed post - I'm a happy camper because the last two fics I read were all with alpha!Jack and knows-he-likes-to-be-fucked!Daniel, which is so my favourite dynamics *eg* I'll definitely pay attention to the future fics those writers will post because if it's a recurrent theme for them, I should enjoy their stories immensely lol

Oh hey btw, this has nothing to do with anything, but I just saw it cruising a DVD site - The O.C is being released on DVDs in France. How ironical is that? I mean, it hasn't even been airing here - or if it was, only on the cable, and it's already on DVDs whereas we TS fens are still begging for our beloved and dead show to come out years after it went off the air - well, there's still reruns but you know what I mean.

This is unfair, really *pout* And I heard about the fuss over the accusation sent Petfly's way... if that is the reason why we still don't have a shiny TS boxset on our shelves, methinks I'll travel to Corsica next month and have a talk with someone!

To be honest, I couldn't care less about the whole affair - all I know is that I want TS on DVDs *sigh* Yes, I'm shallow like that too *evil smile*

Eeeep, I knew I'd forgotten something *g* I finally watched an episode of Saiyuki! Hail to YouSendIt.com and hail to yami_tai. I just saw the pilot, but I think I could get hooked easily because I loved what I saw already and I want more. Besides, it's been some time since I discovered a new anime, so I'm ready *g*

Also, so far, Hakkai is my favourite character - then comes Sanzo who is so intriguing and Son Goku. Gojyo comes last but he's not exactly the kind of character that I like to cheer on, even though he's great in his own way, of course, I just like different types *g*

So I joined the ranks of all those Saiyuki lovers - woohoo!

The first one is Marks (http://www.sffan.compromisingpositions.net/fic/sg1/marks.html) by Sffan but the other hasn't been archived yet, I think - it's Making Up for It by Rosalita. It was both very sweet and hot and had the dynamic I love so it's a perfect combination all around *g* I need to send her a fb as a matter of fact *g*

*g* I'm very glad to hear that you enjoyed your present and you're quite welcome! I'm glad they made it to you. I put the comics in plastic so if it happened to rain between here and there they wouldn't get damaged. I'm glad that you like them and very happy to hear that that I've uplifted your spirits!

I love Hakkai best too. He and Gojyo are THE pairing. I mean - the first season is the best. Hakkai has the tendency to faint into Gojyo´s arms :D And the two eps about how Hakkai and Gojyo met? Woohoo! Can we say Protective!Gojyo and Hurt!Hakkai? :D

I just downloaded the third episode. I actually saw an awfully cheap boxset the other day, and I was really tempted to buy it but I wanted to make sure I would end up liking it - well, now I know *eg*

Yeah, it is a very good anime. I especially like the scenes where Gojyo is worried about Hakkai always hurting himself when using his power :) He calls Hakkai "baka"! :D
