snailbones, I had a look at your entry of the day to make sure I wasn't mistaken and lo, it really is Friday!! I'm still standing and (relatively) sane and ready for the weekend \o/ On Monday, when I went back to work, I wasn't sure I'd survive till Friday, but I did, which is of the good. Btw, was this week rough on everyone or was it just Cookie and me?

Anyway, let's just forget about it and not think about the upcoming week which will also be Annoying and let's just focus on the fact that we're free for two days. Pure bliss. Program for the weekend: lie in, some school work, galette des Rois at Cookie's mother with her family, then another lie in and maybe Narnia. Or maybe not. The jury is still out on whether we'll leave the flat on Sunday or not :-)

Also, to celebrate my surviving the week, I got myself a new Threadless goodie in the form of this Rain Bow tote. Though how unfair is that? Threadless makes bags now! As if it weren't difficult enough to resist the lure of their site!

Completely unrelated, I've been in a White Collar mood recently (cannot wait for the new episode on the 18th omg!) and did you all Matt Bomer's fans see the video of him singing with Kelli O'Hara at the Kennedy Center Honors 2010? Matt Bomer, how so talented? No, I'm asking! Incidentally, it was Jeff Eastin who linked to the vid - you can always count on the guy to pimp his cast well :-p

Now back to reading the fics I've tabbed all week. Tonight is for catching up with our backlog of fics to read. Cookie found herself a new fandom, namely Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and she just found a whole list of Perry/Harry recs. Tonight, if she had to choose between her brand new pairing and me, I know who'd win lol

Although by no means stressful or difficult, this week seemed uber long for me! I'm so glad it's the weekend!

I'm going to celebrate by doing a little bit of clothes shopping. I hope I actually find something.

So, did you find anything? I'm waiting for the sales to begin next week for my own shopping. I'd like some new shoes. To start with :-)

Unfortunately I didn't find anything and I even went to two stores! I'm really picky when it comes to clothes now, so if I don't love it, I'm not buying it.

But! I did find a cute black and white skirt on the website modcloth.com. I'm not sure if they ship internationally, but damn, they've got some cute stuff! I'm sure I'll be buying some dresses and skirts from them if its quality.

I need a new pair of flats! Oh so much shopping to do with so little money. lol

So do they ship internationnally? It's always so frustrating when you find the perfect Whatever on-line, only to discover there's no way for you to get the stuff. Frustrating!

ModCloth is a US-based company. I'm not sure if they ship outside the States/Canada, in case you were interested in them. :)

Thanks but I never buy my clothes on-line - ok, apart from Threadless but I'd borrowed a shirt from one of my friends to try it on before ordering on-line. I'm never sure clothes will fit, even though they might be the right size.

I totally understand! I hate buying clothes without trying them on. I console myself with the fact that I can send it back if it doesn't fit, exchange it, or get my money back. And after I do find a store that I know my sizes in, it makes life so much easier! I can confidently buy clothes from Victoria's Secret because I know what my size is with them. Plus, you can't go wrong with VS. Great stuff!
