Have you guys seen the latest shit the Westboro Baptist so-called-Church pulled? (link goes to a Tumblr account that has nothing to do with them, no worries, I'm not giving them any hits). I just found out via Tommy Ratliff's twitter.

They've started a campaign based off the No H8 campaign and doing their own version of it showing members of their "church" with tape over their mouth and messages like "God H8 fags" and "fags enablers" (so I guess both gays and supportive straight people are the targets, at least they don't discriminate in that area). Apparently there's a video that goes with it but I don't think I want to watch/listen to it. The pics are more than enough. The one showed on the Tumblr I linked to is even more painful to watch somehow as it uses children to promote hate and prejudice.

The whole thing is so fucking wrong. It made me angry at first, now I think it makes me sad, too. Selfishly, it makes me even more grateful that in my own little world, I'm surrounded by so many supportive, open-minded, loving and clever people, from my family to my friends, to the people I work with, passing by the people I talk to on-line. I'm aware I'm lucky to have those people around me ♥

Anyway. I'm going to finish reading Michael Tolliver Lives then I'll spend the afternoon sunbathing in a park with my girlfriend and forget about being angry about ignorant people. There.

Ca fait vraiment petit, hein ? Et le coup des gamins, ça me dégoute. C'est aussi super triste; quand t'y penses, ces gosses sont enlevés dans la haine des autres. C'est just effrayant et vraiment triste.
