See, I was going to ask about the latest Gatewank, but I think it would be pointless because there will be a new one tomorrow and by then, this one will be old news, so what's the point, right? Though just tell me whether it was the shippers' doing again?

Speaking of SG, those Saturdays are nice as SG goes since everyone is posting their reviews on Friday Stargate - feels nice when you're waiting to watch the real thing yourself. Oh, something amusing to read though? When someone says stuff like I'm not going to use a cut because unless you live under a rock, you all have to know about the latest episode of SG - damn, some people really suck at geography and apparently they need to be told about, I don't know, the rest of the world? *shakes head*

I can understand it's easy to forget using tags after a while but when you're still in the middle of a brand new season? Is it too difficult to remember that not everyone lives in the US and that no, not everyone gets to see the show at the same time - actually, even within the States, like if you don't have cable and all. So really it doesn't seem so unusual anyway. And we don't all download episodes either - yes, I know, both concepts boggle the mind, sorry lol

Anyway.

So yesterday, had a busy day but I'll spare you the details - rejoice, flist. It ended up on a quiet note though, my cousins and I settled in my bedroom and we had us a nice little Futurama [w/ Italian accent, please] session until midnight. Before that of course, it was The Olympics because we're so very addicted to it.

Back to Futurama though, know what? I'd totally forgotten that there was a canon gay couple in that series. No, not kidding. Url/Smitty, anyone? And their love is even inter-racial and everything, hail to Men/Robot love - aww theirloveissofuturistic.

On a different note, and because I apparently love writing disjointed posts - I just finished downloading QAF 403 and it reminded me of how much I miss those weekly QAF downloadings *sigh* I think I'll even have time to watch it before Godmother and Co come back from the mall.

I mean, if I think having my cousins look over my shoulder while I'm checking my flist --with all those compromising icons usually displayed for my pleasure-- is weird enough, I can only imagine how impossible it would be to try and watch a show like QAF with the kids threatening to barge in the room at every second *shudder*

privacy issues are just not fun, are they ... i've been living for a MONTH now compulsively checking over my shoulder to see if i'm alone or if the persons in the tv room are watching tv ... and always with a Le Monde or Liberation window ready to cover ... all these NC-17 warnings and icons ... oh god, i saw one the other day, i stared for a full minute before closing everything down and blushing ... i should try and find it again ... lol

Well that's the problem. See, everyone on my flist mentioned the wank as if it was something known by anyone, so I didn't get the details I wanted. Besides there were two wanks apparently... one of them had to do with a spoilery comment sent in a wrong community and I think the other had to do with the never ending J/S vs S/P war between shippers.

Yeah, that's pretty much the scene I was already picturing! lol I think they did good with my slashy pics on both computer desk and desktop --slashy though G-rated, mind you-- but maybe this would have been err way too much? *cringe*

I did succeed in watching a bit of the episode, so it should be fine *g* Besides, my godmother just told me they were leaving tomorrow morning so... I'll have the house back a day sooner than expected *g* I'm going to miss them but I'll be only too happy to finally get the peace and quite I've been craving for a whole month *blissful sigh*

Comments about living under a rock really annoy me. I may be a spoiler whore but at the same time I want the choice of being spoiled. It's not hard to remember that the US isn't the only country in the world.

I'm used to be alone when I'm on the computer, or to have the parental unit working nearby but hey, they're used to my slash and NC-17 environment, so they don't even blink anymore.
