eeeeuh... what started this? Did I miss an entry? But I agree with you - that's why I'm glad I don't have a TV, not seeing the images enable me to be much more detached - hail for radio! Or just Les Guignols, cause it's a sarcastic approach to the news and I like that much better :)

Hope you'll be okay - and quit watching those stupid news... keep to important news like the fact that the President's dog is having trouble readjusting to French food - see, that's important! lol

Just deleted the entry - or more exactly, the content. I don't like sharing those stuff around here after all, I always think I can, then it feels like I shared stuff with strangers and I don't see the point - weird, huh?

And I think I just didn't like what I saw concerning the raid at Beslan... that and the idea of those two journalists who are living in fear of dying in agony just didn't sit well with me - I know some good news have been coming and going today, but we still don't know about their fate, and to imagine what they're going through, though it's impossible but you know what I mean, was making me hurt.

PS - OE is by Microsoft; need we say more? I'm having blue-curses issues with my brand new Windows XP, and new version of MS Word. All the bells and whistles that I can't get rid of permanently, and have to spend my time closing again, and again, and again... I spit on stupid, clueless programmers.

I think it was one of those times when you --obviously-- know what you mean, but you're apparently the only one, which is why I didn't understand why people was thinking I would leave LJ, and I was like 'okay, what did I write??' lol

Well it takes careful reading, because it could go either way and it comes down to the fact that there isn't a comma between "bye bye" and "last post." But it could easily be misread as you saying that even though you enjoy LJ, for unnamed personal reasons you can no longer share your personal info in this way, so goodbye[, this is the] last post.

A simple edit to say "bye bye to my last post" rather than "bye bye last post" might keep your friends from getting the wrong idea. :-)

Well it's difficult when you are writing something very casual like this, and you're really aiming at making it sound like speech, and it you were speaking everyone would know exactly what you meant by your tone and inflection... sometimes it's so obvious to you what you mean and just a tiny thing can make the difference.

Hopefully your little tweak will fix it -- if not, it was something else that was catching everyone *else's* attention! :-)
