Well it takes careful reading, because it could go either way and it comes down to the fact that there isn't a comma between "bye bye" and "last post." But it could easily be misread as you saying that even though you enjoy LJ, for unnamed personal reasons you can no longer share your personal info in this way, so goodbye[, this is the] last post.

A simple edit to say "bye bye to my last post" rather than "bye bye last post" might keep your friends from getting the wrong idea. :-)

You're right, you're right, I can't believe I just had to add such a little thing to really make myself clearer *g* Me and English grammar? Not only on good terms, even when it seems so obvious *g*

Well it's difficult when you are writing something very casual like this, and you're really aiming at making it sound like speech, and it you were speaking everyone would know exactly what you meant by your tone and inflection... sometimes it's so obvious to you what you mean and just a tiny thing can make the difference.

Hopefully your little tweak will fix it -- if not, it was something else that was catching everyone *else's* attention! :-)
