The weather is depressing this week; it's hot and sunny! I'm sorry but this is not on! It's almost October, I want to start wearing my autumn scarf and my autumn mittens! They're looking at me all sad and wondering what the hell is going on! I sympathise, scarf and mittens, I wish we could go out together again! #LongsForCrispWeather I'll use my favourite autumn icon to protest against the whole thing *nods*

Something else that is depressing - ok, not so much 'depressing' as it is annoying - is the whole university enrolling process. Is it a nightmare in every university in the world? Or is just in France? Or maybe just in Paris? I was hoping for some answers today but nothing, nada, rien. Complete radio silence. And you'll see that once they answer me, it'll be to tell me I'm past the deadline! This is so frustrating. I don't know why it has to be so complicated *sigh*

Anyway. Last week was quite hectic but this weekend was a bit more restful. Lots of family time - couscous Saturday evening with the parents and two of my cousins, then homemade lasagna on Sunday - my dad makes delicious lasagna - and the same cousins plus The Esu plus an aunt and an uncle. Quiet and relaxing. Ok maybe not so quiet, there were twelve of us, but definitely relaxing anyway and just lovely. My goddaughter is a riot and my niece is growing up so fast ♥

I also went to see Warrior on Saturday and I had a blast. The film was nothing like what I expected, which is good as I wasn't really expecting anything, I guess? Just to be entertained and see Tom Hardy be awesome and kickass on screen. So no surprise here, he was fantastic and kickass, yes, but he was also heartbreaking and so moving! I loved the whole cast. Well, the whole film gave me ALL THE FEELINGS. There, I think that should sum it up nicely :-) I'll definitely buy the DVD when it comes out. In the meantime, though, if someone has a link to donwnload it, I'm all ears! Tia.

I do believe that enrolling in any university is a royal pain in the arse, but in France, especially so!

I don't know if I'm happy I'm not the only one going mad from the whole thing or just sad that others go through the same hell lol But things improved today so I'm a bit more hopeful.

Exactly my sentiments on the weather! Autumn may not be sunny and warm! It must be cold and rainy so I can put on my new clothes and light a fire in the evening (we did have a campfire on Saturday evening, which, I have to admit, was a good alternative).

Ack, I hope you sort out the university problems soon.

What is Warrior about? It's a movie I haven't heard about yet.

You're obviously a woman of great taste! We've breaking all kinds of record temperature wise. The last time it was that hot in September in France was in 1900. Awesome. NOT!

Things improved today re: university problems, so there is hope!

This (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1291584/) is Warrior. It's a story about family, redemption, family, hope, MMA, family. It's intense and very moving. The cast is fantastic. The brothers make you ache in the best way. The dad does as well. And the fights are seriously impressive. I just loved it.

I have no idea about breaking records, but I guess it must be the same over here. I have a day off tomorrow and we're going out on the town, so I don't mind the nice weather for that one day, but I do hope they'll be right in their predictions that next week is taking a turn for the better worse.

Yay, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it keeps going that way!

I loved Tom Hardy in Inception and Black Hawk Down and wouldn't mind seeing more of him :) I don't think we'll watch this in the cinema, but I'll keep my eye out for when it comes out on DVD! Thanks for the heads up.

Ok, it should be nice and hot for your day off with Tom, I'll give you that. But Autumn weather next, then ;-)

I really discovered Tom Hardy in Inception and kinda fell in love with the way he played Eames. And he was even better in Warrior because the film is much more emotional and intense. I hope you'll like it too :-)
