Help spread the word on podfic (you don't need to be a podficcer to join in!). pod_aware

I'm not a podficcer, I'm just one of those who benefit from that "new" media; I'm a podfic lover of the listening persuasion ;-) I've truly fallen for podfic around a year ago, IIRC, and I now have a satisfying podfic library on my itunes, which I listen to whenever I'm outside and on my own. I'll confess that I quite often listen to the same stories, though I like to add new ones to my dedicated playlist. I also listen to my favourite stories to lull me to sleep when I'm not feeling well.

Technically I download much more podfic than I end up keeping because I'm (sadly?) a picky podfic listener and because of that I end up deleting many files. I can enjoy even badfic if it means I'll read some of my favourite kinks and/or tropes but I can't listen to podfic of even my favourite fics if the reading isn't The Right Way For Me. How weird is that? And it truly is frustrating because I'm always so excited when I find that a favourite fic of mine has been recorded and turns out I can't listen to it because InsertOneReasonAmongMany. I'm just a victim of my nitpickyness. I've learnt to accept it, though. More or less ;-) And when I find works that do please my ears (and I have many of them, too, I'm not that bad) it just makes the experience even more pleasurable ♥ ♥

Anyway. I'm just spreading the word :-) And also, GIP! Made by nicelyobsessed. Having a girlfriend who knows her way around Photoshop is kinda awesome ;-)

I admit that I love that you're as a picky as I am because a) I feel less lonely and b) I can always express my sorrow and/or frustration About Podfic Stuff and know you'll understand :-)

Omg I know, why doesn't she answer? So many people would looove to have that fic recorded. I feel very sad for the XMFC fandom.
