Secret Sentinel - woohoo!
Okay this? Won't make any sense to 99% of you, but I know
babycakesin will get it and really Les 2 Minutes du Peuple rocks my world. It always cracked me up --I love parodies-- and I couldn't believe it when I found this site this morning - it's a real gem *pets it* It's also a good thing those files aren't too big, because methinks I'm going to save them all on my HD, and Clark has already enough on his plate with all the QAF S4 episodes that are trapped in him since, you know, Danny aka my CD burner is still dead at the moment and I can't burn anything. Tiens bon, Clark chéri, don't break under the pressure, please - though I trust you and your kick-ass HD *kisses*
Anyway.
Oh TS fen? I'm pretty sure you already saw this but just in case - TS has its own secret fanfiction writing contest, namely
sentinelsecrets! It was a work in project last month or so and it's now going live, all thanks to
tobyfan,
reetchick and
tommyboybbi - you rock, girls, seriously *g* Anne first for thinking of doing it, and the other two for joining her so quickly and making it work *g*
Now I need to decide whether I want to participate, or more exactly, I need to decide whether I'll be able to participate - I don't need to mention my problem with deadlines and challenges again, do I? lol
Because I sure would like to, it's not really the point. I wish I did good with challenges really, but I certainly don't always have the inspiration nor the motivation to write, and those challenges sorta imply that I have to force both inspiration and motivation and... well, that's what doesn't work for me *sigh* Still, I'll think about it, because it would be great. And I'll also have to do it quickly.
And finally OMG, the first season of ST:TOS is being released on DVDs in two days! In a huh very yellow box set but who cares? So yeah, not me. And I get why they did it, that's beside the point lol Too bad it's so expensive - 100€? Won't sit well with my bank account. Maybe later *g* And don't look at me like that, I can't help it, I've been a fan of ST:TOS since I'm six years old, I have to have those DVDs!
Okay sis is here - gotta go to the hospital *waves*

Date: 2004-09-08 02:14 am (UTC)Did I thank you again for being one of our best participants over there, btw? I'm definitely not forgetting about the other regular writers, but you're definitely among the top group, so thank you *g*

Date: 2004-09-08 07:13 pm (UTC)Well I still appreciate what you do *do* for the community! It's funny, I *never* thought I would be able to write either challenges or for a deadline -- and I really don't think I could in any other fandom. But Jim & Blair just demand to be written, and written often, and on every topic conceivable. :-)
I used to always think I wouldn't be able to come up with something for the challenge... somehow over time it became an assumption that I always would, somehow, something would pop out at the last minute or whatever... funny how that works. :-)

Oh, thanks so much, that means a lot to me! :-)
