I didn't have anything RL related to do today --well, I took a break that is-- so I decided to hit my ST folder and code the missing challenges. Technically I was supposed to code like tons of them. Conclusion? I only did three *sigh* Three down... way too much to go. I guess I'll work on some new ones tonight and if I hear from Terri, we may even quicken the pace. Yes, miracles do happen - or let's say I want to believe lol

I also tried to think of a way to deal with the idea I had for sentinelsecrets. Hmm? Oh I didn't tell you? Yes, I caved in *sigh* Don't ask me why, I have no idea. It's just that I loved the idea and I thought what the hell, let's live dangerously so... well, I signed up.

Can't say the prompt inspired me immediately though I did have an idea pretty quickly... only I had to ask a question to the mods about said prompt --hopefully, they won't hate me *cough*-- because otherwise I'll have to change it. Yes, my muses are little shits. Even when they decide to send me inspiration, they have to do it on their own terms. I'll have to have a talk with them and explain what challenge means *glare* Anyway, I'll wait to see what the mods will tell me *g*

And really, it's just typical that the second time I choose to participate in a challenge thingie, I have to pick one where I won't be able to talk about my story at all *shakes head* Oh well, when it's too easy, I'm not happy because I need things to be challenging... No it's not true, but it has a nice ring to it lol

Finally, I meant to talk about it but I forgot each and every time I updated my LJ. See, I'm a spoiler whore - 90% of the time I read and take great pleasure them. I didn't think I was at first, but with time I had to accept the truth - so yes, I'm a spoiler whore. But sometimes they're really painful *cringe*

So, the spoilers for Fruits Basket I read about last week? Are still making my eyes hurt. From now on, I'll christen chapter 97 'Chapter of Doom'. I'm pretty crushed, really *quivering lower lip*

One of these days, I'll do one of those Unpopular Opinion meme and I'll add something like I don't consider saying 'What I read about InsertShowOrEpisode made me want to cry/laugh/kill someone' as being spoilery because this isn't a spoiler to me. To me, a spoiler is when you talk about something concrete related to the plot - storyline, characters and whatnot. Mentioning a 'feeling' isn't a fact, therefore it's not a spoiler'. And since it seems to be one hell of an unpopular opinion, it'll be be perfect - and it'll make me feel better too.

Definitely the one, yes. I was crushed, I mean... we're back on het territory and it really didn't please me, I'll admit *sigh* I also can't shake the feeling that this wasn't exactly a long-time thing but more of a last time thing.

I wouldn't even think of saying anything, the mangaka has every right to do whatever she wants with her story, I always respected that, but still - it doesn't mean I have to like it *shrug*

No, we don't have to like it and to be honest, it may be her story and all but that plot line is just lame. She must know how many fans she is going to lose by doing that. Like katikat said, as far as I am concerned now Fruits Basket is the anime, not the manga.

Okay well we get one hell of a revelation since Akito turns out to be... a woman! So yeah, it just didn't please me. Besides, it almost feels like it's coming out of the blue, which is just weird *shrug* I'd have to re-read the thing to see if hints were given, but in the anime? Definitely not, which is why it just seems to have been a last minute idea, you know?
