Mar. 3rd, 2012 09:50 pmI'm waiting for a call from my sister so that we can finalise our little weekend in Budapest this summer. Not that I'm impatient or anything. [ETA: Hee, she called, it's done! We'll be going to Hungary for three days at the end of July \o/ #Awesomeness]
Unrelated now, something I've been meaning to share with you since this morning but had to wait to be back to do so. I watched a TED talk that I thought might interest some of you, namely The Power of Introverts. The title alone should tell you why I thought it might speak to some of you :-) It's a lovely, interesting as well as touching (at least I thought it was touching) talk made by Susan Cain on introversion.
The past few years, I've managed to check off the To Do list many gigs I really wanted to go to and I'll keep the good work next months with Florence + the Machine and Alexandre Astier's new show, but there's one more event I'd really want to go, namely TEDxParis. I'm thinking of going to the one held in october but it's not as easy it as it sounds; tickets are sold out very quickly, for one thing, and they're not exactly cheap. Still, one can hope #FingersCrossed
Ok, now, I think I'll leave Cookie to her umpteenth watching of BBC Sherlock and watch Awake that I downloaded this morning. Then I'll go read some more of A Clash of Kings. Perfect program for a low-key Saturday evening :-)

Date: 2012-03-04 08:15 am (UTC)That talk does sound interesting, I've just tabbed it to watch after I've finished my LJ read.
You're making me want to go read more ASoS, but I do that the morning will be lost and I've things to do. Later though.

Date: 2012-03-05 10:14 pm (UTC)Her speech was passionate and cute, too. And kudos to her for going up there, on a stage in front of so many people, I'm pretty sure I couldn't do it omg!
I'm so happy I was recced that series ♥
