A day in the life meme - Day 1

I saw a couple of people on my flist doing the A Day in Your Life photo meme and I thought it would be a nice way to post something without too much effort - I confess, I'm being lazy. Besides, I enjoy playing "voyeur" when people post that kind of meme, it's only fair I play as well ;-)
Ah. I'm actually being lazier than I thought because I typed down the post last night and am only posting it this morning. This photo meme is supposed to last a week, mine will be definitely shorter #Cough
A day in the life of me - Wednesday.

Breakfast! Introducing my brand new mug. Well, breakfast might be too strong a word, this is milk+ricorée only. My stomach doesn't like to ingest food before 8.00AM. Or even before 9.00AM, for that matter.

Changing handbags so that I could put a notebook and some books in there as I'd planned on going to the library after work.

Being lazy (yes, it was the theme of the day) and waiting for our bus to go to the station:; that's the view from said bus stop. I was complaining about the lack of coffee shop in Choisy last Sunday (we don't have a single one) and it's too bad I wasn't looking to go to a bar, because those, we have aplenty. This is one of them.

Work! Introducing my desk, this time.

On my way to the cafeteria to get myself a cup of milk coffee. Admit it, our staircase is making you envious... Doesn't it look pretty and inviting? We're always very grateful to our students for their art.

Lunch break at Starbucks, at Bercy Village (Cookie was away for a big reunion a million miles away from Paris - or that's how long it felt to her). I sat at a table outside; it was so sunny and warm! I had a nice and quiet time reading some more of A Clash of Kings, which I'd been neglecting a bit the past few days.

I had a meeting in the afternoon, which went very well. I was happy with the outcome.

Library time right after work \o/ I was so efficient, too!

Then off to Saint-Michel to go and buy a present for a friend's birthday on Saturday.

Sitting in the RER C to reach my destination

On my way to the FNAC.

And home! Having salad salmon for dinner. Because I suddenly craved salmon #Yummy
There, one entry posted, one! :-)
Fannish wise, Cookie and I have finally caught up on both Once Upon a Time and The Vampire Diaries. I'm completely smitten with OUAT, smitten, I say! And TVD is insane as ever. Those two shows delight me to no end ♥

Date: 2012-03-24 08:35 pm (UTC)Sorry, I should have been more precise. A RER is a train; there is the tube and the RERs (A, B, C, D and E). They're all the nightmare of people living in the suburb but we can't do without them as most of the time we don't have a single metro line in the suburb.
OUAT is such a clever and compelling show. You never know what to expect!
