A day in the life meme - Day 4 & 5
Mar. 26th, 2012 11:03 pmI've been quite excited today because tomorrow is Florence + the Machine's gig with
greedy_dancer and
moimoietmoi. One more sleep only! ♥
This isn't the point of this entry, though, so I shouldn't let myself be distracted. I come bearing two days in one for the Day in the life meme (no, I'm not tired of that meme yet!). Here it goes *points*
Day in the life - Day 4

Lazy morning in bed with Cookie, watching OUAT. Nice way to start the day, if you ask me :-)

About to re-apply my nailpolish for the day.

Trying to decide which shorts I'll be wearing (I picked the pair on the bed, in case you were curious).

That note, guys, that note. It was pinned to the glass by a neighbour (it wasn't signed, of course) and it basically asked people to please be so kind as to being more discreet when they're having sex because sex noises shouldn't be shared between neighbours. And also, thank you. I think that's the best note that was ever written by a neighbour!

And another train! RER D, this time. Heading to Montgeron for a friend's birthday.

Before the cake (Sandra always serves homemade Tiramisu and it was kinda torture not being able to eat it) we played a mad party of Time's Up. I love this game, it's always so much fun!

Pretty trees.

Waiting for the train to go back to Choisy.

Aww, no moar note? ;_;

We did some groceries before getting home, including what we needed for a little sandwich (for Sunday).

And some domestic chore. Putting away some of our clothes.
Day in the life of - Day 5

Taking the nice route to reach the station. We were heading to Versailles to spend the day with Cookie's mother and play Loto (Bingo). The event was organised by her brother in order to raise money for the neighbourhood association.

Ticket validator? I have no idea what's the English for these.

Picnic on the train! Classy, eh? lol It takes us 1h30 to get to Versailles and we left too early to have lunch at home so sandwich it was.

We love that type of house. Definitely not the modern kind, admittedly, but gorgeous all the same.

Versailles' heraldry. Oh, and my reflection as well.

Arriving at my MIL's \o/ It takes us 1h30 to get there so it's always a relief to arrive :-)

Presidential campaign everywhere you look.

Cookie's mother had asked her to do her infamous chestnut cream cake, which we savoured before leaving for the Loto.

Loto! I was one square/number away from winning, first, an ipod docking station and then a TV! Loto is so stressful omg!

I didn't win anything but Cookie did; a meal for two in a restaurant. We gave the voucher to Cookie's mother, though.

And to the store again for some more groceries. Cheese ftw!
Well. That took some time! Five days down, two to go!

Date: 2012-03-27 12:56 am (UTC)J'ai jamais joué à Time's Up mais mon frangin m'assure que c'est vachement bien. Tu en as un? Faudrait qu'on y joue un de ces jours!

Date: 2012-03-28 10:03 pm (UTC)Omg, sérieux ? Et tu as envoyé ton père passer ton message ? That's so bad, dude.

Date: 2012-03-27 05:56 am (UTC)Bingo is stressful, the few times I have played I hated waiting on one number.
I'm liking the reflections shot of you, too.
Hope you have fun at the concert.
