castalieAs of tonight I'm off work for a whole month, you guys! You think that day will never come then it's finally knocking at the door and it's pure bliss! I love me some Summer holidays *clings*
I've been pretty tired lately but the mere knowledge that I won't have to set foot at work for four glorious weeks is making me feel better already :-) Tomorrow I'll be spending the afternoon at my sister's so that we can plan our litte get away in Budapest (from Friday to Sunday). I cannot wait!
Then it'll be a whole month of working on my thesis, eek! As much as I want it to, this thing doesn't write itself, did you know? I'll have to go on a writing spree and dedicate my days to research and to writing but I'm confident. Sorta. Yeah, ok, I foresee freaking out sessions in my near future lol It's par for the course, right? :-p
I have every intention in making time time to enjoy my time off, though. I just need to find the right balance, is all. Cookie and me time, family time, friends time (me time as well when Cookie will be away for a week). And let's not forget tv time! I have SPN s8 to marathon as well as Teen Wolf s2. I'd also like not to get behind White Collar and Suits too much. Oh, and I'm thinking of giving a try to Political Animals as well. I've also revisited Bradbury (I've read some of his work back when I was in middle school and, at the time, it was French and French only, so reading him in English feels like I'm discovering his novels somehow) and intend on reading more of him by the end of the Summer. GoodReads tells me I'm 2 books behind on my reading challenge (which, omg, stop pressuring me, GoodReads! It's not my fault if all the articles I read for my thesis don't count for you) so I'll have to work on that!
As far as summer plans go, it could be worse :-)
