Week in the Life - Day 7
Feb. 23rd, 2013 10:08 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Had a great day at my sister's with a couple of our friends for a double bday celebration (her second of the week, lucky girl, and one of the friends we had over).
Also, Cookie and I went to our flat this morning and it's all done! Well, we're still waiting for one kitchen item to be delivered but it should arrive soon-ish. Now we need to put everything back in its place. We'll go after work throughout the week and then next weekend.
Anyway. I'm not here to ramble about domestic stuff but to post the last round of the Week in the Life meme. In this batch, I'll give the answer to the question "Did Mouse go to the damn library or did she bail again?" #StayTune
Day 7 - Friday
1. I decided Friday would be Casual Friday but I didn't know whether to wear my skirt or jeans. Decided to go for the jeans and turned out it was a Very Wise decision as it was absolutely freezing outside. I don't think my leggings would have cut it, even with warm socks.

2. It was actually snowing lightly on my way to the station. It didn't stuck but it was there. As it happens, it snowed lightly today as well - the forecast is talking about snowfall tomorrow and Monday, we'll see.

3. My morning flew by, which is always a good thing, but there was this moment when everything happened at once and I was all "arrggh omg kill me nao!"

4. School bag again, hee oh the suspense! lol

5. Did a quick visit to the FNAC during lunch break to (try to) find a birthday gift for my friend Sandra whose birthday we were celebrating with my sister's on Saturday. Mission was a total failure, I couldn't find the CD she wanted :-(

6. Left work and headed to the library!

7. Though first I needed to make a quick stop to another store to find the Elusive Bday Gift. Found what I was looking for this time! Books never let you down ♥ Incidentally, this is a bookstore that has taken a lot of my money over the years. And I maybe bought two books for myself this time again.

8. LOOK LIBRARY \o/ I waz in ur library studying all ur books ;)

9. Another shot. It is a gorgeous library.

10. Back home. WEEKEND OFFICIALLY ON! Book on the left is the book I got for my friend, the two on the right are the ones I got for me. I didn't even know Mark Haddon had released a new book! What a lovely surprise :) As for the other one, the cover caught my attention and I enjoyed the summary, fingers crossed that I enjoy the actual story ;)

And that's it, folks!
PS: Mom is watching The Voice ("I like it, the judges aren't mean",
greedy_dancer, does it remind you of someone? lol) and Person of Interest has been advertised twice during the commercial breaks already. I approve! I'm also very excited that they're finally airing the show in France. I'd watched - and enjoyed - the first episodes but got behind and never caught up. It'll be nice to follow it on the telly. I just hope they'll propose the English version too #FingersCrossed

It's quite noisy, sadly, but such a gorgeous place. It also has many of the books I need for my thesis so, yay, I'll keep going to that particular library, anyway.
