I can haz Person of Interest nao?

castalieI was so disappointed when I found out there would be no Person of Interest tonight! I was absolutely certain that it premiered today - I had the parental unit ready to watch it, even - but when "it" began, it was clear right from the start - as in from the very first few seconds - that what we were seeing was, in fact, a French show. Alas, I'd read the tv guide wrong, it starts next Wednesday, one more week to wait!

crazybutsound and then the second half watching PoI. Well, it was of the half win (though the better half, obviously) since I did see Jem, which was lovely as usual ;)
I totally deserved to have a fun and chilled night because I got quite busy yesterday. I was supposed to spend the whole evening at a coworker's leaving do ("leaving do"? I mean a "leaving party", is that correct?) but Cookie wasn't feeling well at all so I only stayed for an hour before getting back home to join her. She slept it off and I was on my own and, out of the blue, I decided that maybe I would work on the assignment that I was supposed to submit for the online class I've been taking the last month (one of those MOOCs everyone is talking about in my line of work). Being, well, me, I only decided to submit said assignment hours before the deadline. I'd sorta given up on the idea of submitting anything but, don't ask me why, all of a sudden the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to hand in something, after all, so I just got down to business. I started around 7.00PM and completed aforementioned assignment around midnight, ie an hour before the deadline. Haha take that deadline!
Of course, after submitting it, my ego got in the way and I was all "damn, I wish I had more time to really work on it, I know I could have done so much better!" Well, next time? Maybe take your decision ahead of time, eh? Just a thought!
Anyway.
All that to say, I deserved to relax in front of the tv tonight and wish Person of Interest had been on. Though I watched a very touching French film with the parental unit, one which I'd never seen before.
I'd love to tell you that I'm planning on watching Arrow next but the truth is, after completing the assignment last night I spent some time puttering online and text messaging the coworker I mentioned earlier and we were still text-talking past 2.00AM so I'm a bit tired, dunno if I'd be focused enough to truly appreciate the Amazing Adventures of Kickass Diggle, His Future Husband Ollie and their Sometimes Fuckbuddy Felicity.
Speaking of, I've been so off all week that it took me a whole day yesterday (and in fact a tweet by Stephen Amell himself) to realise that the reason why I hadn't found any download for the new episode in the morning was that there was no new episode to download yet as we were, in fact, Wednesday and I, of course, can only download it on Thursday. Believe you me, TGI(Practically - it's 11.45PM as I type this, so )Friday.
