Petit coup de mou

castalieSo you thought I wouldn't post again this week, uh? Or maybe it was just me. Ahem. But I'm here \o/
It's not so much that I had a busy and hectic week (even though I did), it's more that I was feeling a bit under the weather. I'm lucky enough that I never have a problem with running out of spoons to achieve whatever I need to achieve, be it mundane or more "elaborate". I mean, obviously I get tired and stressed out about things but they never become Too Overwhelming. This week, though, I've been tired and yesterday, I felt like I was about to misplace some spoons.
In the morning I did manage to muster the motivation to work on two assignments from 10.00AM to 4.00PM (go me!) but when the time came to leave for a family reunion, I almost couldn't go. I just wanted to curl up on the couch, not speak or interact with anyone, and rest. In the end, I did go and it was ok (which is why I said "felt like I was about to misplace some spoons" because, again, I was ok enough to go out of the door and interact with my family).
This morning I was quite happy to be with everyone (we slept over at my aunt and godfather's with two of my cousins and nephew) and I was as happy to go back to Paris afterwards in time for our French Posse Annual New Year Afternoon Tea at M.'s. This evening, Cookie and I ordered Indian food and ate in front of Daredevil (am still watching it as a matter fact, oh this show ♥) and I feel much better. So all in all, I'm fine but I just didn't enjoy the past week and there are some personal issues that are stressing me out on a regular basis. Sometimes I wish we could hit "pause" when things seem to be getting a bit too much so that we could breath a little before hitting "play" again and resume things...
Oh well, as Wesley said in Angel once, sometimes you need to wallow ;)
