Just a drive-by post. Though before I start everything else, let me wish a Happy Birthday to
auster. Hope you'll have a wonderful day, girl *g*
It's not even 2.00 pm and I feel like the whole day has gone, pfew! But I'm home now and after the main activity of this morning, which wasn't funny at all btw, I went to the mall and... treated myself with Angel S4 Pt1 - YAY! So if someone asks for me, I'll be the happy fangirl sprawled on her bed hypnotised by the magic box, thank you very much!
But I'm not just here to tell you about my oh so exciting plan for the day *rolls eyes* I'm also here to share the pilot of Numb3rs - I know several of you guys asked me to share the link yesterday. It literally took 24 hours to upload since I actually had to do the process over and over and overand over and over again. I even let Clark on when I left the house this morning, which I never do, so that the last try turned into the Right Try - and it worked. Fortunately because it was driving me a tad crazy. I love YSI, I truly do, but man, sometimes I want to throttle it... or something.
Anyway it's finally available and I hope you won't face any problem with the file *crosses fingers* It's not anymore, I'm afraid.
Here it comes: Numb3rs 1x01 [.avi / 350MB]
[Edit: Bloody link not working right now. I know *is not a happy camper*]
[Edit2: Am actually trying again. Question of honour and psycho stuff like that lol I'll let you know whether it works or not *g*]
On a sorta related note, I downloaded the pilot of Carnivale yesterday but I'm afraid it didn't exactly grab me, so I passed. Now... I'm trying to decide what to download next, some Nip/Tuck or Scrubs or Tru Calling... hmm, decision, decision *g*
And la Chandeleur last night? Was yummy beyond the telling of it *licks lips at the mere thought of it* There're some crêpes left so I think I'll even eat some in front of Angel. Oh boy... some days are just too good for words!

Date: 2005-02-03 01:48 pm (UTC)I'm not sure your magic link works because we're being redirected to the original link after a few seconds. :o(
Oh! Crêpes and Angel??!!! That's downright sinful!!! ::eg::
J'espère que t'as au moins de la Nutella! (ou "du Nutella", mais on va pas commencer la polémique, hein?) ;op

Date: 2005-02-03 02:56 pm (UTC)I think this is how it's supposed to work actually. There's an middle-link or something and when you're directed to the usual page, the magic had done its work silently - or so I've been told *crosses fingers* Well, as long as the download works at all, it'll be something at least *g*
*goes back to her beloved series*

Date: 2005-02-03 04:29 pm (UTC)I'm back on the regular link now anyway. Hopefully if it's a bandwith problem, it should come back? I have no idea whether a site like YSI works like a regular site? Because man, it took all fucking day yesterday plus last night and a good portion of this morning to upload so if it was just for two downloads, it's hardly worth it. Wanna try again later eventually?
And sorry :-(

Date: 2005-02-03 07:34 pm (UTC)I'm sorry for the trouble you went through with the uploading! But take the good part - if at least two people managed to download it, it has fulfilled its purpose, there are two happy Numb3rs-watching people ;)

Date: 2005-02-03 08:01 pm (UTC)Carnivàle
Date: 2005-02-03 11:10 pm (UTC)Since I don't get HBO, I have to wait until Season 2 (which is being shown now) ends and the DVDs come out before I get to see how the Season 1-ending cliffhanger was resolved (and it was much more of a cliffhanger than anything TF did with Oz).
Re: Carnivàle
Date: 2005-02-04 08:15 am (UTC)Anyway, if I have the opportunity to watch it on TV one of these days I'll certainly give a chance cause it does sound intriguing, but not right now *g*
And seriously? Boone/Shannon would sound healthy and normal? Wow lol Though I take it we actually speak of real brother and sister with the Revered and his sis? Interesting *eg*

Date: 2005-02-04 12:24 am (UTC)I so want to start watching that series - used to be a huge Rob Morrow fangirl. :D
Now I just have to figure out how to download the eps, all the future ones too, in a way that doesn't involve Bittorrent, as Bt no longer works in the Uni network. Woe!

Date: 2005-02-04 08:09 am (UTC)I know the show airs on cable here, but I have no idea whether they'll ever do on regular networks so I don't think I'll see it myself, but I'm not too sad lol
And Numb3rs is really interesting *g*

Date: 2005-02-04 08:06 am (UTC)It's a 'news' program indeed, and deal heavily with politics but also uses everyday stuff, like tv shows or programs that we see on our TV but also just everything they find 'intersting', as in they know they'll be able to work on, like what happens in football --since you may know that football is a big thing over here too-- you'll find footballers portrayed on a regular basis too *g*
It's caustic and they go right for the jugular and they make no prisoner lol They're certainly not nice to the States for instance, but you shouldn't be offended because they're sure not nice to anyone/anything, France included *g*
You can follow the program here (http://www.canalplus.fr/index.php?pid=20). I think you can find a new video each day, ie the program of the day before.
What about the Daily Show, now? I've heard a lot about it and am curious, could you direct me to their site or something?
