Friday! I went back to work only yesterday but boy was I happy when I left the uni. Especially as Cookie and I had mad plans for tonight. Mad, I tell you! We went to M&S to get some food (I think it's Doctor Who's fault, we suddenly had a craving for some good old British grocery shopping) before rushing home, making some tomato soup (well, microwaving - although I want to point out that we usually make our own soup. But tonight was meant for lazy meal "prep") and grilled cheese sandwich. Twice in a week, by god! Then we watched "Death in Heaven" (episode 8x12 of Doctor Who) followed by the Christmas special, "Last Christmas". Omg. I was smitten! What a delightful episode that was! I laughed, I cried, I screamed at the tv... I absolutely loved it! I have to say that my appreciation, maybe love even, for Twelve has been growing with each and every new episode. Eleven will always be my doctor but I really enjoy learning to know Twelve too. As for Clara, I always loved her, so.
Tomato soup, grilled cheese, Doctor Who. I know, this is a wiiiiild Friday night, wild ;)
In our defense, we have a busy weekend ahead as we're working on Saturday night and then again on Sunday afternoon (cloakroom duty, as per usual this time of the year) so we need all the quiet and cozy time we can get before. We're also thinking of getting our Christmas tree tomorrow... I usually go with my mother because getting a tree when you don't have a car is a bit tricky but there's a store across the street that seems to have some nice trees so we might have a look there. We'll see :)
