Can you believe we're in December tomorrow? I can't. I have no idea where November went.

I'm not sure where the week went either, to be honest but, at least, I've had a good one. I've been meaning to try at-home yoga sessions meant to alleviate stomach pains and help with digestive issues and the likes (thank you, YouTube!) and I've tried to turn it into a "ritual" on Mondays (I'll get home and instead of putting on my homewear, I'll put on my gymwear and start right away with the session). So I did that on Monday evening (100% coincidence or not, I was in pain when I started and was completely pain-free at the end). Tuesday was my Italian class (pretty excited as our teacher suggested we went to an Italian Film Festival she's helping organise which, to my delight, is showing the first episode of L'Amica Geniale tv adaptation, so we all booked a ticket for that premiere).

I went to the movies on Wednesday with Cookie (to see Robin Hood which we both found so disappointing. We actually left before the end, which never happens, but we were so bored! Idk, I thought it was just ridiculous and not in the tongue-in-cheek, fun way I thought it was going to be, I couldn't engage in any way. Note that I never expected the film to be realistic or in the least deep or gritty but this version felt off and completely uninteresting to me). Yesterday was my gym class. Tonight is lazy night at home. Tomorrow is afternoon tea with a friend and Sunday will be chill and enjoy the Christmas spirit outside.

I just feel more and more festive and happy as the days go. I have all sorts of festive activities and outings coming up soon like the ternoon tea with a friend and her son I mentioned, Christmas Movie Night with another friend next week or bredala (Christmas cookies) baking with the FP the week after, and others that I want to plan, the main one being purchasing our tree and decorating the flat (supposedly on the 8th) as well as going to different Christmas markets in Paris, having lovely strolls around the Parisian streets all decked out, enjoying the lights and decorations with friends and family, watching all the Christmas DVDs at home with Cookie, diving in my Christmas themed books TBR pile, buying cards well in advance (dammit, I will send them out this year, mark my words! *raises fist of sheer determination*) and many, many other lovely things :) I love December so much, omg. Yes, it's a hectic month, yes it feels like All the Things are happening at once, throughout those four weeks but I just love it.

I love all your festive talk. It all sounds so perfect.

I actually enjoyed Robin Hood. It was mindless entertainment and I certainly wouldn't want to see it again, but sometimes all you want is some trashy ridiculous film that makes little sense. Yeah, my standards are that low it seems.

That's great about the yoga helping. I guess it makes sense if it's helping your body stretch out and relax.
