Oct. 18th, 2019 01:58 pmHow is your week going, flist? Well, I hope! Mine is, I'm happy to report :) It started with a pretty chill weekend on my own last weekend since Cookie went away with her brother. They had themselves a little time off in Madrid, and enjoyed the hell out of it. It was pretty funny, actually, because I was still in Norway when she left for Spain, meaning that for most of the day it was as if we were playing some new version of Risk where I'd decided to conquer the North of Europe and she the South ;)
I didn't have a lot of time to play tourists this time around but I did manage to grab some pictures here and there so, as usual, you can check my IG account for some pictures of Bergen (grey and rainy Bergen, I might add, but still very, very pretty!).
Then in no particular order this week : I had my German class, I visited Kodawari Tsukiji a new Ramen place which decor recreates the Tsukiji fish market (the decor is on-point, down to the sound effects as you can hear seagulls now and then), tonight I'm going to the Musée Yves Saint Laurent, tomorrow Cookie, Sis and I will attend a Back to the Future even where they're showing the trilogy and we're having live music etc. (should be super fun) and on Sunday I'm going to a friend's for brunch. (Come to think of it, I could do a Week in Pictures meme, I think I've taken pictures here and there... do people even still post that kind of content?)
Anyway. That is my week... a pretty good one :)
As for my love affair with Prodigal Son, it is still going strong (as in strong). I should maybe say "threesome", mind you, because Cookie has fallen as hard as I have - well, almost as hard. I don't even know how many times we've watched those few episodes... but more than we would care to admit, I'm sure. Case in point, on Monday evening, neither of us had anything planned so we decided to treat ourselves with a little Prodigal Son Night and watch the first three episodes again. Our Monday evening not being US-Monday evening, the 4th episode hadn't aired yet, so we watched that one on Tuesday night, after I got back from my German class (and I couldn't come back quickly enough, let me tell you lol).
I did manage to find the time to watch something else, though! Shocking, I know. I just found out this week (sometimes you have to wonder what the hell I'm doing online) that the Jason Bourne franchise had been adapted on tv - that is, they did a tv series based on the films - and that Brian J. Smith was part of it. So I had to try it. Verdict: colour me interested. I've never been a fan of the franchise (as a matter of fact, I've only seen The Bourne Legacy) but the Treadstone pilot caught my attention: it's fast-paced with some awesome action and fight scenes, the women seem pretty badass and there's a double timeline which could be interesting to follow. I might have found a second Fall show to watch. Hopefully I won't obsess over it like I obsess over Prodigal Son - I couldn't handle two obsessions at the same time, guys. Even I have my limits ;)

Date: 2019-10-19 07:52 am (UTC)Oh, awesome! What time of the year will it be? And, let's be honest, Bergen is beautiful even when it's grey and rainy ;) (Also quite atmospheric).

Date: 2019-10-19 02:31 pm (UTC)You should post a week in photos. Who cares if people don't do so as much now. You can start the trend off again.
Enjoy your weekend, as it sounds pretty great. Maybe even sneak in another PS rewatch.
