Another pointless entry...

... just because I can, and because I want to relax and what better relaxation technique than writing a pointless entry, uh? lol

I finally closed the last book for the day. I don't want to talk about tomorrow's exams, and I don't know if I'll want to talk about it tomorrow anyway. Hmm, yeah, I think I'm going to create my very own taboo. Nice *g*

Am now watching ER S9. I had an odd moment at the beginning of the episode. I'd actually forgotten Mark was dead! I'm not kidding. For a second I wondered where he was and why we still hadn't seen him, and then- I remembered, and it just felt weird *shrug*

Then, there was Romano's accident, and oh boy oh boy : I *knew* it was coming, I did, but when I actually saw his arm being cut off *shudder* Everything happened so *fast*, that's what shocked me the most, I think, the swiftness of it...

Anyway, let's look at the shows we have here now :

ER every Sunday evening -- new season
John Doe every Wednesday evening -- new show (don't laugh)
Alias every Thursday evening -- new season
Law & Order: CI every Saturday late at night -- rerun (I really have a thing for Bobbie and Alex. Bobbie is just so bloody smart! I'd like Alex to be ahead of him at least once in her life, but she's still some kick-ass character, so it's okay. I think I like L&O: SVU best for the cases that are dealt with, and L&O: CI for the characters.)
Stargate every day -- rerun (I wanna have S7 *soon* but in the meantime, it'll do, believe me *g*)
Smallville every day after SG actually -- rerun
Charmed every Saturday evening -- new season (in case there's nothing to watch. I just cannot stand Page, and apart from Cole and my beloved Piper... well, anyway)

Not bad, I think.. we also have Everwood which started today --is it any good btw?, 24 S2 starts next week, and of course there're some other shows thrown in the midst. It feels like I could spend my whole life in front of the TV *blink* I wouldn't never do that, of course *cough*

I was fucking shocked when the blade cut his arm off, believe me! Sandrine, who was watching ER at the same time called me during the commercials and her first words were "I'm shocked!" lol

ER definitely has a nice touch *g* What about Carter? Well, he's definitely feeling better than the last time we saw it --rerun of the previous season during the last week, he's still attracted to Abby, they even kissed and everything, but she's got this problem, and she's been kinda hostile and on the defensive sometimes *shrug*

I don't like Abby much - she's got so much problems! alcohol, her mother, her husband... and she's hurting Carter. Not a good person!

Yeah, I'm not really partial to her either. Plus, I always saw her as a remplacement for Lucy, and I never liked that, as you can imagine

Anyway, how the hell did it happen. Well, the arm was cut off by the... what is the word... 'blade' of an helicopter (?) --you know when they bring patients by air on the roof? It happened a fast as in any real accident, one second he had his arm, the next the arm was on one side... and Romano on the next!

I don't know if it's a part of the 'nefarious plot to get rid of everyone but Carter' --loved that line lol-- cos for now, Romano is definitely still there, with his arm btw, they put it back... but what is he going to do now, I wonder? Sure, I could go and check on-line, which I might do anyway, but the 'suspense' is nice lol

So they sewed it back on? That would work with the way it got cut off - the copter blade would probably make a pretty clean cut. I'd imagine it would be a while until he was up to surgery again, though.

Yes, exactly, they sewed it back on, and yes it was a definitely clean cut. Plus, the arm was cut above the elbow or something, so it may be a positive point for Romano. We'll see. He was feeling better, in the second episode, he was already bitching at everyone, and being his arrogant self.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the arm thing. Man, that was so gross. It was so fast it looked like a real accident, well, like the accidents I've seen anyway. Um, not that I ever witnessed someone getting his arm wached off. Stopped watching ER years ago but I see an epi every now and again and man, when that happened it was frickin' weird!

Imagine watching the arm accident when you had *no* idea it was happening. That's what happened to me. I gasped out loud and jumped off the couch. And I've grown fond of Romano since it happened. Go figure!

I'm so hooked on ER and I can't stop watching it even when it makes me mad. I think I'm secretly in love with John Carter. If he does leave the show, I think I'll finally be able to break away. I heard he's taking a brief absence this season.

I must say Romano is one of my favorites *g* He's just such a bastard most of the time, but he's a great man inside. I really like him *g* Poor guy, wonder how he's going to recover now.

I'm hooked on ER as well, I've been hooked on it from the very first episode, and I was always surprised to see that my interest for this show never wavered even though 95% of the original characters either left or died!
