Yes! Am back home in time to see that the Big Reveal happened during my absence. And I got... one good guess, one! lol But it's better than none, that's what I'm telling myself. Besides, I only guessed for five stories - cause see, if I don't have at least the smallest clue, I can't vote, I just can't. I didn't have a single clue for the majority of the stories, therefore I only voted for those I thought, hey, maybe InsertSillyReason will actually be a valid one.

And my good guess? Was on [livejournal.com profile] ceci2176's fic. A girl I don't even have on my flist *shakes head* Wanna know how I found her story? See, she's a regular commenter on [livejournal.com profile] turps33's LJ and she comments a certain way, ie she's the only one who does it like that and when I was scanning the thread for Story #15, I just went 'hey! I recognise that comment-style! That has to be Ceci'... and I was right - go figure.

So anyway, about my fic? Yeah #9 was mine, namely Solace and apparently nobody linked me back to it? Ah! I'm so not easily recognisable, guys.

Congrats to [livejournal.com profile] fluterbev for winning the challenge again, you're a genius, obviously *kisses*

Man that was fun *happy sigh* I love that challenge to pieces.

Now, off to read the flist quickly so that I can concentrate on Numb3rs afterwards. The 100% status is just the most beautiful sight ever *g*

Gee...

I thought my sappy ending (friendship didn't get any better than that) would give me away, for sure. *g* I guess you don't read enough gen. Just to give you more practice, may I remind you of the third story of my "Letters" trilogy -- "Moving Forward". Just to hone your abilities, you understand. (::snicker:: Nothing like being totally obvious.)

Notice the sappy ending. It seems to be turning into my trademark, which I'm really not fond of, but I don't seem able to avoid it. Maybe I'll get better one of these days.

I got yours right!! And since I guessed at random, maybe there was something subliminal going on there? Because of the ones I did get right, except for one, I can look back at them now & say the story really did fit the author, so perhaps my guessing was influenced by some weird cosmic force. OTOH, if that's the case...why didn't the cosmic force steer me to *more* correct guesses. *ponders this*

geez, this is fun *g*

Cosmic force? Man, that has to be the best explanation ever! I want some cosmic force for the next round of SenSecrets, please.

I noticed that. I didn't get yours right -- thought you wrote Orion's story "True Feelings", thought your story was written by Lamardeuse. So, obviously, the subliminal thing didn't work for me.

OTOH, if that's the case...why didn't the cosmic force steer me to *more* correct guesses.

Exactly. I got only 3 right; you'd think that even totally random guessing would raise it to 5 or 6. Oh, well.

LOL Thank you so much for being so generous as to want to hone my gen reading abilities *eg*

Oh and yeah, I didn't guess your story because I don't read enough gen, I like that theory! It didn't have anything to do with my inability to recognise my LJFriends' stories, not at all. No sirree!

No, of course it didn't; perish the thought!

Thank you so much for being so generous as to want to hone my gen reading abilities.

Anything I can do to help... *g*
