Dude. That's all I've got.

I'd like to put an APB on my lost!obsession. It disappeared - I have no idea where it went, but one thing is sure, I - excuse the lame pun - lost it.
It was so sad, here I was - finally - watching a new episode in that series that I've literally worshipped for twenty episodes... and nothing! Or well, not 100% nothing, but mostly nothing. It was so wrong, I didn't like it at all - the feeling, I mean, cause the episode? I didn't care.
I started feeling something when they were all gathered for Boone's funeral, but barely. It just didn't make me feel anything So even then, it didn't last. If I had to sum up my feelings for the major storyline, it would be: blah. I'm not even saying the episode sucked, btw, just... I wasn't really there with it *shrug* Oh except I was right when I said Locke was the one who had whacked Sayid - not for the right reasons though, but whatever, I was right. So thanks. I suppose?
I did find something of interest though - can someone guess? *g* So. The only thing that totally had me squeeing and bouncing was the whole Charlie-with-screaming-baby thing because his scenes with a) Hurley and b) Sawyer were the best ever! But cutest of the cutest, the moment that made me laugh and bounce on my seat was when Charlie realised the secret power of Sawyer's voice and he, I don't know, scampered? after Sawyer - oh man, that was priceless! I may never recover from that scene - the cuteness of it, the CUTENESS of it *happy sigh* Scene that was closely followed by the one when Hurley starts to sing of course, because OMG the love! And technically, I know that it was actually pretty stereotypical, you know, the whole Tough and Pseudo Bad Boy is the only one to be able to soothe the baby but man, I didn't care because it was C.U.T.E. Oh and no wait, I enjoyed two others things too: a) Jack's breakdown. Man he looked so fucking sick and damaged and he still screams so good, I loved that and b) Jin's little moment because I fucking love Jin. Oh and Sun too - so make that three things *g*
I'll download the next episodes because there's no way I'm going to stop now and I just hope I'll get into it by then, but man... there's something wrong going on right now *narrows eyes*
Speaking of download... Firefly? Is still frozen. I'm sorta kinda starting to lose hope, I'm just sayin'.
Changing the subject now. I mean, completely. So I was watching CSI last night and ohh in the first episode there wasSkaara Alexis Cruz and in the second one Jake Foley Christopher Gorham - I love it so much when shows collide. It also reminded me of how much I love Jake 2.0 and it made me all nostalgic - when is M6 going to do a rerun, man? I'd really like my geeky show back *sigh*

Date: 2005-05-05 01:15 pm (UTC)Episode for recent shows are easy to grab and the download doesn't take that long but when you find old shows you'll end up with like one seeder and then... well that's when it starts to be difficult. Case in point *sigh*

Date: 2005-05-05 01:20 pm (UTC)I really don't understand to tell the truth cause I was still hooked on it for episode 20 so what the hell happened? Not that it's actually important, like, hi, it's just a show, but I never fall out of love like this so yeah, I'm quite curious.
Can't talk about Alias because that show bored me from the start - that is, there was this moment when I thought I would get into it then after around three episode I realised it was just a fluke lol

Date: 2005-05-05 03:59 pm (UTC)As far as Alias goes I love it. The reason I love it though is Spydaddy. Without Victor Garber as Jack I doubt I'd keep watching. But Jack is just such a fantastically complicated, flawed, beautiful, fucked up character! I could do a whole entry I think on why Jack is the greatest character who ever existed. Anyway if you only have seen season 4 you haven't seen Alias at it's best. Seasons 1 and 2 were the shit! Season 3 was shit and season 4 is somewhere in between. *L*

Date: 2005-05-05 08:04 pm (UTC)I was bouncy the whole afternoon while Lost was downloading!
I absolutely loved the scene with the baby and Charlie! I love Charlie nayway; he's just so cute...
And if I were at the baby's place I would stop crying too, just to hear Sawyer's voice better! *g* His voice gives me shivers...

Date: 2005-05-05 08:33 pm (UTC)I'm believing you here, mate, cause I just can't accept that I'd fall out of love with something like that. That just never happened... which I know, theoretically, doesn't mean it couldn't but still.
I'll be back next week, you can count on me, I mean... I'm trusting Lost to rock my world again *g*
Also when they say three hours, what do they mean exactly? Because American PTB tell you that their show last 60 minutes - that's how they say it on official sites - but in truth, it doesn't. It usually doesn't even last 45 minutes, more like between 42 and 45, and the endless commercials breaks fill the twenty minutes - so are aforementioned three hours American or normal? *g*
And that scene was just so adorable that... words don't do it justice! Also 'turniphead'? That's how he called the baby? Thanks! I couldn't understand what he's said exactly *g*
Hey they're airing MI:5 on Canal+, I just remembered after reading your comment, thanks for the reminder lol

Next time, if Lost really bores us to death? I know what we can do to compensate: move the books slightly to the left, yay!
