Call of the Wild, huh?
May. 23rd, 2005 05:09 pm#1- Thanks to those who filled in the questionnaire yesterday - you never let me down, do you? I also made a discovery concerning someone from my flist, so that was really interesting, too *g*
#2- I survived my first four-hour exam this morning! I came out of it unscathed and un-traumatised, which is actually really yay. Just a note to myself though. Self, will you be kind enough to fucking stop double-guessing yourself *glare* I don't know why I always do that. I write something then start to wonder, correct it and turns out I was right in the first place and just argh, this is so frustrating. I always tell myself that this is the last time I do this... and I always do it all over again *shakes head* At least, the original name will still be visible. It won't help me much but at least Mr Teacher will see that I knew the correct name of the guy. It's just that I'm a twat *pinches self... not in a good way*
#3- QAF S5 premiered last night in the US and I'm back to mourning the loss of btefnet something fierce. As shiny as it may be, TvTorrent dies on me every five minute and anyway, it seems they don't have QAF US - yet or not at all. And the torrent I found froze at, well 0% right from er the start... and.did.not.move. As soon as I'm over with my exams, please be so kind as to remind me that I need to prepare my revenge against MPAA. Thanks. Also, hi. This is me being quite unsubtle and asking to whoever knows where I can find a working torrent for 501 & 502, thanks again *is hopeful*
#4- After one too many post regarding "Call of the Wild", I apparently caved in and ordered the DVD *blink* I think this is the very first time my flist talks me into buying something. This is actually quite scary. But well, 3.39€ for two hours [or however long it lasts for real] of slashiness... how was I supposed to resist that, right? Right.
#5- Revenge of the Sith tomorrow at 9.35 pm if everything goes according to plan! Fingers crossed everyone! Well, mine in particular *fingers crossed*
#6- And a little something for the French Posse. I'm saying French Posse because to really appreciate the sheer funniness of those files you need to know a) Les Guignols de l'Info and b) Francis Cabrel... and actually, even for the French Posse you need to c) love at least the former *g* It's the whole C'était Mieux Avant series which The Esu + Friends + The Mouse were so fond of. I was in a nostalgic mood the other day so I hunted them down and lo, I found the files. So I'm sharing *g*

Date: 2005-05-24 10:41 am (UTC)BTW! Man, I meant to ask. So okay I received my DVDs for the Super Shiny Collector Edition of QAF UK and now the individual DVDs are useless to me so I was wondering whether you wanted them, maybe? There's the French version too - which I never watched btw, go figure - and I thought maybe you'd like to take advantage of the freeness of it. Just le met know, thanks *g*

Date: 2005-05-23 10:29 pm (UTC)OK, someone already pointed you to torrent spy so I guess you have your QAF torrent now. :-)
I'll watch the episode tomorrow. I hope it'll be good. I was overall a little disappointed by Season 4, I must admit, even if I still loved it dearly.
And I'm looking forward to reading what you thought of Ep III ! :)

Date: 2005-05-24 10:47 am (UTC)Well I'm a tad weary of S5 - yeah, QAF US is one of those shows where I spoil myself silly beforehand - and I'm really curious to see if the final result will actually please me or not. We'll see *g*
I'm looking forward to watching the movie lol Hopefully, it'll work out just fine *crosses fingers*

Date: 2005-05-25 11:32 am (UTC)So that's a short review ^_^
(Also, am not yet really liking Brian's hair. It looked a bit greasy in a few scenes. Greasy = the anti-sexy.)

Yes, Brian's hair! Greasy, that's the term I was looking for - definitely don't like his hair either *shakes head*
