I don't know what to do with myself today. All my plans have been cancelled: no Pride yesterday and no Fête du Cinéma today or the next two days. No Batman Begins *cries* No Kingdom of Heaven or SW again. Nothing. What can I say, I guess it's been some time since I got my Super Mega Fun Plans destroyed, so it was overdue? And I'm supposed to be studying but I'm just so tired of those books right now *pout* So I'm procrastinating - when I know it's really a bad idea - and not caring one bit. I already worked this morning, am just taking a break and I don't want to go back, is all.

Cause really, cruising LJ instead of working and finding some Awesomeness, namely liminalliz's Firefly Photo Essay is so much more fun. Photo essay which btw, induced a little craving for my Firefly DVDs which is also a bad idea right now . I've been tweaking my layout as well and... well, I'm not sure about the result. I was a little tired of the dark tone of the previous one so I changed it to something softer... I also added anatsuno's brushed version of my background and now it looks a tad too soft and pale, maybe *squints* Dunno. As usual, I'll see if I get used to it or not. I sometimes need some time to adjust to changes, you know?

Then again, sometimes I don't and I've been adjusting quite well to my newly found dS fandom-love. I even snagged a bunch of icons and everyone knows that finding icon is the last step when one is getting into either a new show or a new fandom - or both. I just need the 100 icons because the problem is that my current icons are pretty much all Essential Icons now and deleting one to use a dS one - I can't use more right now - is a bigger torture than usual [/crazy icon addict] And btw, my DVDs have been dispatched, wheee! I'm starting the countdown now *beams*

And finally, since I'm talking of addictions and stuff; I turned scrollgirl to the math side of the force! Yes, another Numb3rs pimping success story, I'm so proud *is proud* She fell in love right with the first two episodes. That girl recognises good stuff when she sees it, that's for sure *g*

Unfortunately it was this weekend or, well, next year. The Pride is only once a year and the Fête du Cinéma as well. I'll just go and see Batman Begins for the normal price is all, as for the rest, well, I already saw them, so it's okay *g*

Well, technically for what I want to do, I'm over and done with *g* I just need to take - and pass - the right concours and I'll be able to work my dream job so as far as dregrees are concerned, I already have the one I needed to have the right level to be admissible. It's just that waiting for aforementioned concours to work - they're quite hard those ones, ouch, and like we were a thousand people taking it, and they only take fifteen, so yeah... - I wanted to do another degree, and it's not happening right now lol I need so few points and they keep on eluding me, argh!

I like the side layout, and the lighter color is easier on the eyes. I don't think anything looks "washed out", but computer resolutions differ. Just letting you know it looks good on this end.

Didn't have any one to go with in the end. My sister had something to do - I asked Rissy but she's uncomfortable in crowds and when I saw she was going to say yes just because she knew I wanted to go, I told her it was okay. Sandrine was still in Turkey, it's not exactly Manu's thing, Sandra wasn't here and Juliette has her two little ones to take care of, so... well, it was just ole me lol

Et pour la Fête du Cinéma, les parents et Anna étaient invités chez Graziella et Sandra y est allée aussi... et aujourd'hui et demain j'ai le rattrapage donc c'est mort. Ils nous donnent un horaire d'arrivée... et ensuite on attend comme des boeufs notre tour de passer. Aujourd'hui je suis arrivée à 10h30 et je suis repartie à 13h00. Lovely *rolls eyes*
