Writing Writing Writing
Oct. 22nd, 2003 10:45 pmI *finally* typed down the five remaining pages of BP2. I'm now officially down to 10 pages and 7925 words. Okay, I can start writing the next parts! *g* The thing is, I just don't know where the thing is heading, I mean 10 pages to describe less than *one* hour? How am I going to survive the description of the coming *weeks*? *shakes head*
Usually, I'm talking about my fics to my betas, and it helps me sort things out, but it just didn't happen for that one, unfortunately, and now, I'm finding myself wanting. I really need those talks about my stories, they're just essential *sigh*
At one point, I thought about changing the way I was telling the story, but I think it would mean a change in a big part of it, and I'm not sure I want to do that. The story is flowing nicely for now, so it's not a necessity- it would just give another feel to it, in my opinion. I think I'll write more using the original process, and if inspiration strikes me, I'll just change the angle, that's all.
Speaking of BP2, I received a mail this morning about it- apparently some people are getting *impatient* to read the sequel. I'm grateful, don't get me wrong, but some readers know how to send weird mails, trust me on that! lol
Oh, on another note. I watched "Into the Fire" today, and there's this scene I just *love*. It lasts around three seconds, and it's at the *very* end of the episode, you know when it's practically over, and you can already hear the theme of the ending credits begin? Well, anyway, the whole team is heading to the Stargate, all happy to have survived yet another fucking dangerous mission and proud to have saved the day again. Daniel leaves Sam's side to come near Jack, and Jack strokes/ruffles Daniel's --now short-- hair, and we can 'see' him smiling at him and it's just sooooooo sweet!! *sappy smile*
What? Oh yeah, that's all- hey, I told you it lasted, like, three seconds! lol
