Sometimes you need to wallow...
Feb. 11th, 2005 04:05 pmWhich actually doesn't have anything to do with the content of this entry or the way I feel but Wesley cracked me up when he said it, so there.
Speaking of which, two random and --let's be honest here-- quite pointless facts about Angel:
#1- The Cordelia-Wesley-Gunn Team? Is so very perfect and cute - I love it to pieces.
#2- Going from S4 to S2 is really quite the experience. Watching Wesley in particular since huh... it's like day and night. It can't be helped though since I buy the sets I can find, you know, and there's no way I can wait, so as soon as I get my hands on a new season, I just watch it, which makes for some nice moments - though technically I saw most of the series in order, I just have some half-seasons to complete. But I'm getting there and I might even own the four complete seasons before the fifth comes out here on in March *crosses fingers*
Hey, my last class of the day was cancelled - on the first week of the new semester, too, isn't that sweet? *g* So I came back home with a smile plastered on my face because hey, that's always nice when you can go home sooner than expected. And to celebrate the fact that I was on weekend earlier, I geeked myself out and coded some new stories for the ST archive --we're slowly getting there, guys-- and decided to post my two latest Night stories at 852 Prospect as well. I mean, after doing it the first times I wrote responses for the ST challenges, I came to the realisation that I didn't like posting stories so short over there after all, but it's different here somehow, cause they're part of a series and my obsessive compulsiveness had some trouble with the whole there-are-two-stories-missing-omg thing! My subconscious can be such an ass *trails off* Or something *cough*
On a different note, I had some really cool fannish talks about both Lost and The Sentinel both on personal LJs and communities this past week and it's just grand. Being a fangirl is really a great thing... when you know how to avoid the wanks lol
And tonight? Nip/Tuck, yay! Am gonna have a little Lost marathon first... and then I'll turn to Nip/Tuck. Perfect *g* I love Me days - well, afternoon/night, whatever *is self-centered*
No wait! New Numb3rs tonight as well, right? Cause okay, I don't know when I'll get to download it, but that's still Numb3rs Friday, if I'm not mistaken, isn't it?
ETA: OMG! Canal+ is airing Fullmetal Alchemist! I can't believe I'm finally going to see that anime!

Date: 2005-02-11 05:34 pm (UTC)And it could have been even more shocking if I hadn't see anything in order and if I hadn't seen the progression from cutedorky!Wes to angrybitter!Wes in any way, but even then and knowing everything I know... it's still quite the experience, wow.

Date: 2005-02-11 06:35 pm (UTC)But since that day hasn't come yet, I guess I'll still talk to you? lol That line was great, I loved it and yes it really hurtful, but I couldn't get mad at Wes --though I really like Gunn too-- because it was something that I could understand. Not that it was fair of him, but I could see it, because when you're hurting so much yourself and you're angry at the world and angry at your friends and you feel you've been betrayed by the ones you love the most, there's one thing that you can do and it's lash out. And it's hurtful and it won't solve anything but damn, you needed to just say it, you know? So when he pulled that shit on Gunn, I couldn't really feel hurt on Gunn's behalf --though I saw that too, eventually-- but all I saw was Wesley's pain.
But from your Wes/Gunn POV, I definitely can see why you would put the blame on Wes, anyway. I mean, even if you didn't like his character in the first place anyway *g*

Date: 2005-02-11 05:27 pm (UTC)Ahhh...I love Fridays. Well, and I hate them because tomorrow and Sunday I'm going to be on a download frenzy since I can't possibly tape all the shows I watch. Stargate, BSG, Numbers, Medical Investigation... *BG*

Date: 2005-02-11 07:55 pm (UTC)Now, I notice that your birthday isn't listed on you bio page. How about sharing it? (Otherwise how will I know when to waft birthday wishes your way?)

Date: 2005-02-11 08:00 pm (UTC)Maybe I should put back my birthday on my info page. I don't even remember when or why I deleted it. Anyway, it's May, 27th *g* And since it's a story I really like, I'll also ramble about how my actual birthday was on a Sunday, May, 27, which was Mother's Day - I just love that story lol
And thanks for the thought btw *g*

Date: 2005-02-11 08:08 pm (UTC)Yes, you should add it back. Enquiring minds want to know, don't you know ;-)

Date: 2005-02-11 09:48 pm (UTC)That sounds like a lovely Me Day. Well, lovely in an Oz kinda way, but still *eg*
One should always have a thought for enquiring minds, I agree lol

It's the awesomest ever, especially when you get to episodes 15+. If you miss eps or get impatient or what have you, I can AIM you whatever you wish. I'm all for pimping FMA to everyone everywhere and everywhen!

Date: 2005-02-14 09:04 am (UTC)I'm so impatient to see more of that anime because everyone is raving about it. And thanks for the offer! I'll remember that *g* And just a note, did you ever try YouSendIt [or SendThisFile for that matter]? Cause it's even better than using AIM, ie people don't have to be connected at the same time to send/receive the file. I'm using it all the time - my friends as well, which makes for nice episodes/songs trades *g*

Date: 2005-02-14 11:43 am (UTC)But I'm willing to try it again ^__^.

Date: 2005-02-14 10:54 pm (UTC)Also, do you sometimes have a fandom/show/anime that you associate with someone on your flist? You'll hear about it, watch it or whatever and you'll think of that user, even if just for a second? Well to me FMA is definitely associated with you, so when I saw it was airing, I immediately thought about you. That just struck me as funny *g*
