Me love dark stories
Oct. 26th, 2003 06:56 pmI finished my TS story *preens* The one I was talking about yesterday. Now though, let's forget I ever said anything about writing this story for
sentinel_thurs. The story was around 532 words, I think, when I stopped yesterday --which incidentally means it was 32 words too many-- but it's now officially *cough* 2398 words *cough* So let's say I won't post it at
sentinel_thurs after all.
It's a pity cos it was right on the spot. I mean, it's rather dark, indeed. I'm kinda proud of it, I must say *g* I didn't re-read it yet, I need to take a break and clear my mind, or else I'm going to mix all the words together, but I think it's a nice dark story. I just hope it'll survive a second reading. I'll see in a few minutes.
I'll send it to some of my betas *looks at
turps33,
babycakesin and
yami_tai* to have their opinions. I have a particular question to ask them about the end, actually, so let's hope a) they'll like the story and b) they won't have three different opinions! lol We'll see.
I really miss Bobbie though. I love my betas, and I really enjoy working with Tai, don't get me wrong, but I still miss Bobbie. I really need to sort out this hotmail problem. I know I can still ask Terri to play messenger but still...
Since I'm on the subject of my WIPs, I received a mail from Tai this afternoon, and following some of the things she said about BP2, I now know how I'm going to write it. I'm not going to change anything after all. Introspection over- dialogues and interaction between the characters are on the menu for the next chapters *g* Not that I'll give up on the 'Jack's Musing' angle, but I decided on the 'active' thing too. I'll send you a mail later, Tai- but I can already thank you for your insight *g*
Oh, on a completely unrelated note, you guys made me smile this morning. I saw your answers to the Fannish5 and you astound me! I mean, how the hell do you do to write such *short* answers?? It's beyond me! lol I'll have to seriously try those short and straight to the point answers one of these days, really *g*

Yeah, if you put it that way, I guess that's a good question, indeed *g*
