Spent a lovely day! First when I woke up I felt practically no pain anymore and with the help of a little painkiller, it just faded away totally - yay! Then we left early in the afternoon to go the Sénart forest which is like 20km away only. I'm always reading turps33's lovely recaps of her days at the beach and everything, and I usually forget that even though Choisy-le-Roi is definitely urban, we still have some nice forests not so far away from home. So I decided we would go out and spent the afternoon there. Parental unit was definitely glad - and okay, a bit surprised that I proposed something like that, being the happy hermit that I am, but I love the forest thank you lol We had a great time. And man, the air smelled so different - so that's what air is supposed to smell? Wow, nice! lol What I love best though? The sound of the leaves and sticks being crushed under our shoes. Love that sound *happy sigh* Oh and we saw two deers! No kidding - one of them was running like the wind, but the other stopped and stared at us from a distance. I think it was trying to decide whether our dog was a threat or not - Lovely Deer didn't know Jody, that's for sure! My dog? Being a threat? I don't think so lol

Anyway, around 4.00 pm we came back - just when everyone was arriving as a matter of fact, so it was perfect, and once home? We planted ourselves in front of the fireplace and ate the viennoiseries [pastries] my dad had bought : pain au chocolat, flan, croissant, mille feuilles while drinking hot chocolate. I mean, can it get better than this, seriously?

We'll make a habit ouf of this *determined look* Well, the forest thing at least *g*

Oh hey, I started my story for sentinelsecrets this morning around 3.00 am, what can I say, my Muses live at night last night. And it was a good thing because when I checked the flist this morning and saw the post that reminded us of the deadline, I could at least say to myself that I'd already started the thing, so it was all right *g*

I know I said I was going to start writing the fic yesterday, but Saturday apparently turned around Lost and Lost only and you don't want to know how much time Babycakes and I spent on the thing, chatting on Y!M about it while watching the premiere at the same time *cough*several times in a row*cough* and then making new icons. So I won't tell you, but I'll give you a hint - one hour, two hours and three hours aren't the right answers *cough*

Also, I think I want to stay un-spoiled for that series. I really liked how I didn't know anything about it when I downloaded the premiere and I'd like to keep it that way. Though I'm saying this now, we don't know about next week lol I already know some details, but they're just that, details and one of them I guessed so it doesn't count. So let's see if I can put my Spoiler Whore persona on the side just this once *g*

I can't wait to see fics over there lol It was the first thing I saw when I opened my flist - I jumped on your LJ immediately (dude) to let you know *g* I've thought of something else about Charlie by the way... and since you used a S/C icon, it's okay for me to talk about it - isn't it? I thought so: well, you know how he's always saying 'Charlie's fine', 'my name is Charlie', 'I'm Charlie'... I want your opinion on this: do you think it reflects some kind of trauma? As if the personality building process had been aborted in his youth and he has to reaffirm who he is over and over again. (and btw, I can't wait to see him go cold turkey!)

Okay, here we go again.

Lost (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-24313/) is the brand new series broadcast on ABC telling the story of 48ish people who survived a plane crash and who are now stranded on an Island. Only thing is, things rapidly get complicated when the jungle seems to hide a secret.

The main characters are played by actors who are known to us because they played in other shows --Oz, Party of Five or Haunted, Smallville, Alias, Roswell etc-- including Dominic Monaghan, who incidentally happens to be my favourite character so far *g*

The black was a little harsh and this blue is nice, just not as nice as Danny. Then again not much is.

I'm on the verge of uploading my banner to the LJ photohosting thing, but that means messing with codes again. But still, it'll be worth it I suppose.
