OMG, OMG OMG

Okay, between the last post and this one, this vid happened, and I'm now totally gone on Brian/Justin! I know when a new obsession is in the making, I feel it slowly coil inside me, and then it sorta burns from within, and I'm right here lol Usually I just need a little nudge to push me over the edge and that was it.

Wow! That must be one of the most perfect vids I'd seen!

And not only that but I finally found everything I needed about what I previously called my Mysterious Song. I heard this song once in a songvid and totally fell in love with it. Well, it's only today that I found the title, the artist and the lyrics. Blessed be Google.

Hey Tai, if you listened to the vid already, can I ask a question?

When he says "You st--l my heart". In the lyrics I found it's said "steal", but the more I listen to it, the more it actually sounds like "still my heart" instead, as in a short "i"... then again, I always sucked at English phonetics and phonology at the uni, so... could you tell me, please?

To reward myself after a day of revising and uh, doing other stuff, I decided to read some QaF US stories, and started with Brian/Michael. See, there is still hope. Anyway, just had a wee question to ask you. Does Brian calls Michael 'Mikey' in the show? Is it canon?

I know, it's like the grand-mother of details, but I'm obsessed with nicknames, so it's actually an important matter in my insane world *g*

A little. More dismissive, I think. Brian's mother once said she should have aborted him, and his father constantly says he never should have been a family man. Also, there was a bowling incident when they were younger - Brian bowled a strike, Mikey cheered, and Brian's father shoved him down, calling them a bunch of faeries. Brian gets drunk a lot, whenever he deals with his father, and always winds up at Mikey's (who puts him to bed and cuddles him through the night to get him through it....gods that's my fave episode in season 1...^^).

Cuddles? You betcha! Actually, almost every other episode, Brian kisses Mikey and they put their foreheads together as a way of renewing their bond, or getting each other's focus. Best scene was when Brian went to the hospital to comfort Mikey (whose boyfriend was in the hospital) and calmed him down by their ritual. ^^
