castalieOne of my neighbors came to dinner yesterday night. Want to know why I really like him? Well, first because he's really a great person, of course, second because we can have little SG secret moments with him, a) his name is Jacques, read Jack and b) when I met him he was a Colonel... Julie and me *always* used to call him 'Jack' or 'mon colonel' and he always smiled fondly at us in a 'kids are cute' kinda way. Things change though, and something tragic happened though last year... he got promoted and became a General. Julie and I kept telling him it was not possible, because, well, you know... but apparently he didn't listen to us and turned General behind our back! Still like him though *g*
I went to Paris today-- Saint Michel to be exact. Wanted to check on my grades. Well, the institute was closed! Typical! I'll have to wait for four days to know about them now *sigh*
My little trip wasn't totally a waste of time though. I found a new manga and japanime shop, and I actually bought my first yaoi DVD!! Hurray!! The guy only had three of them, one of which was the infamous and brilliant "Yami no Matsuei" but my wallet did *not* like its price, so I decided to wait for that one... Instead I got myself a cheaper DVD, namely "Gravitation". It's the anime version of Murakami Maki's manga. Actually, I realized while I was watching it that I did know about itI I've heard about the manga on line. I bounced a little when I found out *g*
I started watching it, and I stopped when things started to get a little more serious, but I already know I really like it. It's a typical PG rated yaoi, and the characters are just so... *so* lol
Let's start with the uke --the bottoms are always my favorite *eg*-- Shuuichi is *such* a brat! No scratch that, he is such a *Brat*! He's like a... like a puppy on crack! Yeah, that's it, a high puppy: cute, adorable, cuddly, faithful, energetic and totally crazy! And he's also a real drama queen, of course! When he's serious, he's really sweet, and the rest of the time, he just cracks me up! He *never* shuts up! Unless Yuki --his lover--tells him so, of course *eg* He whines and cries all the time-- but he doesn't get on my nerves though. He just makes me laugh *g*
The seme now... well, typical seme-like. He actually mastered the 'bad boy attitude' perfectly. Like, the cool attitude is his way of life, see what I mean? So far, I don't remember seeing him smile. Maybe a tiny weenie smile tugged at the corner of his lips at one time, but I'm not sure! lol Apparently, his favorite 'endearment' for his lover is 'baka' which actually means 'idiot'! Nice, uh? lol He's actually down right scary at times, I swear! I know he must have a reason for his cold attitude toward people, and in particular toward Shuuichi who got so close to him, but still... he's scary! *g*
Argh, must leave. Julie is here. She's leaving again for Italy tonight, so... see ya LJ mine! Oh and LJ friends mine, of course! *g*
ETA I messed up a tiny bit with my style, and changed the 'talk_read_link' variable. 'Open the Iris/Iris Overture" was nice, don't get me wrong, but I thought of another, so I turned it on to "Worship Slash/Slash Worshipper". It definitely has a nice ring to it! lol Like that, I have my SG bckgrnd, and my slash reference in one nice LJ package! Me like LJ.

It's kinda annoying, to say the least lol It comes and goes, in particular at my Friends list *shrug* CL is full of mysteries *g*
