Me, I love tv. Tv and I have had a really rich and intense friendship since forever - it started when I was a little tyke and it never stopped. It used to drive my mom crazy because she had to kinda literally drag me away from the shiny screen each time she would bring my sister and me to the park because she kept insisting I needed fresh air and stuff - we lived in a small flat so technically I do see her point but it was always torture for me. Ask me about my favourite childhood songs and I'll draw a blank, now ask me about my favourite shows and I'll talk your ears off.

Okay so why the melodramatic trip down memory lane? For no reason. Except, just - so I love tv, and most of the time? Tv gives me back my love tenfold.

And, see, yesterday's episode of Hustle SO delivered. Those very first seconds? KILLED ME DED!

Danny was spanked! Let me take a moment to reflect on that... Danny Blue received a spanking. And not just a spanking, actually, but a caning. Kinky bastards! So okay, Danny was bent over the table and he was subjected to a caning. I mean, please! I need a warning next time or - or I'll die okay?

And they even got to show it twice... oh Hustle, I love you SO MUCH! *dies*

Now, I'm haunted with post-ep 3 fics; especially one with Danny whining to Mickey about the caning and Mickey showing him he could take much more, then making it all better. Oh yeah I can see it. He would spank Danny - with his hand - and then he would caress the hot skin and then he would make sweet love to him with long, leisurely strokes and is it hot in here or what? *fans self*

As for the rest, it was brilliant too, as per usual.

I love Hustle for the characters - as an ensemble, they're one hell of a great team, for the stories and also for the way they film the episodes. Do you know many shows that combine silent white & black sequences à la Chaplin with your regular modern scenes? I just love their special effects, it's always so smart and all. And in this ep we had two of them: the white and black sequences plus a Matrix kind of scene. Awesome!

And they had one nice guest star, too! Richard Chamberlain, uh? Neat :-)

I'm still completely smitten with Danny. The man is just too adorable for words. And he also proves to be a better conman every day, I like that he was the one who brought the money on the table at the end.

I'm also completely in love with Stacie. She's so classy and so smart! She rocks! *loves*

And did I mention THE CANING? Yes? Well I'll say it again: omg Danny was caned! *dies*

Oh and I watched The X-Files and omg they KILLED the Lone Gunmen?? But - but what the hell?! They didn't really do that, did they? And what about the spin-off, then? Man, I'm totally confused and so very crushed! So is that true? Is it for real?

I also caught the Kaamelott repeat and omg! Talk about an intense way of ending the third series! Man! Guenièvre was so AWESOME! She looked so much like the queen she is - she blew me away, seriously. I don't know, I guess I'm so used to seeing her as a goofy girl - like all the others - that I tend to forget what she is exactly but after those two last episodes, I totally remembered. Wow.

Lancelot's speech when he confronts Arthur was pretty shocking in the sense that it was so harsh! It was taking the comic of the whole show and twisting it into something that was pretty hurtful and mean. That surprised the hell out of me.

And who would have thought we would end a Kaamelott series on that kind of note? That was one hell of an episode.

Also for the record, there are tv shows I don't like. Off the top of my head I can give you three, count 'em three names! The infamous Smallville, The O.C and One Tree Hill. Ha! Not bad, right? Right?

I hate to say it, but yes, Jump the Shark is for real. My heart never did recover from that one.

I cannot believe it, I can't! I was looking at the screen and I swear I didn't understand what was happening... til the last second I thought it was a trick or something.

Not the Lone Gunmen, man! *is sad*

I still can't believe they did that. I'm still in denial about the LGM and we won't even talk about poor Alex.

Yeah, let's not talk about that either!

Denial is a way of life *embraces it*

Wah! They never aired the last X-Files seasons here (not that I know of, at least), so I never got to see that, and now I'm sort of glad I didn't :(

Seriously I had NO idea they'd done that. I stopped watching when Mulder left and strangely enough I'd never heard of that piece of info. I can't believe I never did, actually *blink*

But yeah, I never knew they'd killed the Lone Gunmen! That's... blasphemy or something. I seriously thought it was a plan... something to make their enemies believe they were dead so that they could... do whatever? And then the credits were rolling and no, it was real *sob*

I don't usually point out typos, but SMALLVILE. It's perfect, considering. I'll be giggling this time next week. ::g::

Er, or maybe it's on purpose. In which case, how cool!

Lol It wasn't even done on purpose no ;-) I usually talk about Boreville when I want to mock the show - which I do carefully by fear of being lynched or something *looks around*

But that was a good typo, yeah lol I guess I really do dislike that show, eh?

Hustle! Yes, I've finally found someone who likes it as much as I do. I'm always slightly taken aback that there's no slash for this show. I mean...caning! Hot boys! Crime! What's not good about that?

Yes, another Hustle fan! *high fives*

I'm baffled that there's no Hustle slash... actually, I'm baffled that there's not even a fandom to speak of. It'll forever be an anomoaly in my world *nods*

Hee. Anomaly. ;)

And the lack of Hustle slash is just bizarre. Some should write it.

I can never resist the anomaly thing lol Well, when I'm talking to a Numb3rs fan, obviously *g*

If I felt confident enough to try that fandom, I would SO remedy the lack of Mickey/Danny slash... as it is, I'm not sure I could but believe me, it's not for lack of wanting!

I know exactly what you mean. I don't think I could get the banter and pace down at all--but I'm hideously tempted!

Danny was spanked! Let me take a moment to reflect on that... Danny Blue received a spanking. And not just a spanking, actually, but a caning.

I just watched it and the first thing I had to do was come see your reaction, lol. So, Danny was caned. Does life get any better? *is still in a very happy place*

The infamous Smallville

*gasp* You don't like Smallville? But...but...Lex! You don't like Lex? Why? *puppy eyes* OK, the plots kinda suck and I stopped watching after the first season, but we'll just ignore that, shall we.

Lol You know me SO well ;-)

Nope, don't like Boreville lol Lex never did it for me, I find Clark's clueless attitude irksome and everyone else was just blah... so yeah, I couldn't ever get into it *cough*
