Yesterday was fun! I accompanied Sandrine to a pre-birth class and then she had an appointment at the hospital and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat! Man that was so moving... and it beats so incredibly fast! I mean, I already knew but it's always different when, you know, the baby is from your family :-) Well, not by blood, obviously, but by everything else that matters *g* So anyway, that was a great day *nods*
On other news, Clark is back! It has to have been his shortest Temporary Death to date, for which I'm ever so grateful, as you can imagine. So this morning I welcomed Clark and gave him his third middle name as it was his third rebirth; so say hi to Clark Lazare Ken Daniel. Dude, I thought it was a) so fitting and b) seriously overdue.
Only problem is, my bloody autoconnect isn't working so Clark is here but he's still not connected to the net. I'm hoping I'll take care of that today though because I need him and his bittorrent - and why do I need the combo so desperately? Apart from the fact that I just do? Because tomorrow... Hustle comes back on the telly omg! I've been waiting for the third series for what seems an eternity and it's almost upon us! I love you, BBC One *g*
I've watched a clip of the season premiere... oh Mickey! Stacy! DANNY *loves* And Albert and Ash, of course, I can't wait to follow them again! Well, if Clark can't connect at all, I guess I will have to wait, but you know what I mean :-) Oh and I've watched another clip of the upcoming new episode of Prison Break and omg I can't wait either!
Also dude, tv life is funny. So it had been years since I've seen Ken Wahl on anything, right? And in the course of a couple of days? I've seen him in a repeat of Wiseguy and in a repeat of The Dirty Dozen: The Next Mission - which, btw, that movie has an awesome title both in French and in English. The Dirty Dozen has a great ring to it and I always thought that Les Douze Salopards was pretty cool as title goes *g* So anyway, apparently it was Ken Wahl Week or something *blink*
Oh and completely unrelated now, I've been meaning to share some French songs with you guys for some time now and I finally uploaded them. I thought Charlie had more of them but I could only find five, so five songs is what you'll get. I'm pretty sure I've shared a couple of those, too, but there's always someone new to your lj who might enjoy it, right? So here it goes:
Indochine - Alice et June
Indochine - J'ai demandé à la Lune
Indochine - L'Aventurier [this one is from their old repertoire, ie it's a song from the 80's]
113 - Un Jour de Paix [Those rappers? Henry happens to know them, they grew up in the same neighbourhood and they were pals. That's something Val-de-Marne is good for, giving birth to rappers. I mean, why not, right?]
Nadiya - Parle Moi
