It's been around 30°C today and I've felt sluggish and headachy pretty much all afternoon. I am not looking forward to the next few days as they've announced a heatwave throughout the week. Wish us luck! Should be around 39°C for several days in a row and I'm already dreading it (we just don't have the infrastructures for heatwaves around here, it's usually a bit of hell). You know it's going to be tough when they anticipate that the temperatures won't go down below 28°C at midnight.
But at least Summer has finally arrived. We had a gorgeous weekend which was pretty outdoory for me: on Saturday I had a BBQ at a coworker's with a group of us from work. I had a blast! We played ping-pong, we played mad games of mad card games, ate too much food and just chilled. It felt like we were on vacation :)
Then on Sunday, my sister and I participated in the tenth edition of the Course des Héro.ine.s (Hero Run/Walk), a charity run which we joined to support a family's friend project, very dear to our heart (both the family friends and their project). The atmosphere was fantastic, we were so happy to have participated. Might join other Runs/Walks in the future.
On the fannish front: what has changed since my last entry? I'm now deep in the Endeavour fandom: I'm mailining the show pretty much every night when I have the time (read when I'm home before 11.00PM and therefore can justify to myself starting a new episode) and, yeah, totally in love with baby!Morse *__* His character feels like he's been tailored for me, what a joy ♥
I've been visiting AO3 whenever I'm free, too - which felt pretty good as I hadn't read fic in quite some time, I realised - and I've also got my hands on one of the novels because I was a bit curious. (I haven't watched Inspector Morse, though, before some of you asked. Nor Lewis, btw). I'm way too busy with baby!Morse at the moment, sorry ;)
