Saturday Rambling
Jun. 3rd, 2006 03:01 pm1. Flist of my heart, let's say I was hypothetically trying to find someone who could burn Devour for me, would one of you be able to deliver? I'd be willing to trade, of course. I'm telling myself that I should enjoy that film - I mean, I'm the kind of person who positively loved The Attack of the Giant Moussaka and there was no Jensen Ackles in sight, believe me, so Devour should be easy to love, right? Bad flicks have a charm of their own. Though for the record, The Attack of the Giant Moussaka wasn't a bad flick, it was just a second degree kinda film. Or third or fourth. You get the picture.
1b. No seriously, I know I'll like it. Sometimes I can totally wallow in the shallow *nods*
2. I sat The Sister down yesterday and we watched the Charmed series finale together. Second time only for me, I think it's commendable. She loved it. Though it wasn't that surprising considering she's a bit of a fan of the series too - which is rare enough to be noted as my sister only watched two other shows Friends and Ally McBeal.
3. I'm trying to make a bargain with my SPN muse. I'll let them finish the Blushing Virgin Dean ficlet that was started on Friday if they swear to me that they'll help me write a little angsty piece too.Crack Light and fun is, well, fun, but I seriously miss the angst, you know? It makes me antsy, what can I say.
4. Speaking of SPN fics.
poisontaster posted a new installment in her post "Devil Trap" series. The one I've been recc'ing to hell and back the past few weeks? Yes, there's a new part. Also, if you go to her journal, I'd advise you to try the sex!pollen series she wrote with
mona1347. The last part is here and you can find the two previous chapters at the beginning of the fic.
5. I'm doing the French Song Sharing thing again. Vegastar - 100ème Etage | YSI link.
6. Oh and I'm watching The Sentinel. It's the episode where Jim and Blair were disturbed by the reporters right in the middle of a pretty wild fucking session. The one where they got outed and everything, completely busted! Or, you know, "True Crime".

Date: 2006-06-03 01:24 pm (UTC)*snicker* So true. They're gonna use that tape for a segment called *cough* 'Partners in Crime', with the premise, 'is it true that police partners are closer even than married couples?' *weg*

Date: 2006-06-03 01:42 pm (UTC)Sorta much like for Numb3rs (at least the eps I've seen so far, which is up to the first half of season 2), the end of Bones of Contention with Charlie chasing Don around to hug is one of the best scenes ever. (And for amusement, it inspired the real story (http://iscaris.livejournal.com/100351.html) of Don!tongue-porn)

Date: 2006-06-03 04:16 pm (UTC)That little scene between the brothers was awfully cute, I second that. Oh and I've tagged your little Don!tongue-porn story for later, btw, thanks for reminding me of it *g*

2. YAY Ally McBeal. Not much of a Charmed lover, though.
3. Good luck with the muse and all!
4. OMG thank you so much for pimping that author to the moon and back - I kind of read through ALL of her stuff last night. She's amazing.
5. Would download if it wasn't for the lack of free disc space my computer reminds me of about every 30 minutes X_x.
6. Okay. I think that mystery series I was talking about in 1.? Was The Sentinel. Probably. How many episodes are there?

Date: 2006-06-03 04:57 pm (UTC)After watching that vid, I'm inclined to agree. he's in it, he walks around, talks and I know for a fact there's a sexscene (shitty and no nudity, but still)... *sigh* well, it's on my rent-list now, and that's a ll your fault!

Date: 2006-06-04 03:44 pm (UTC)4. You can count on me to let you know about the rest of the series - if you still haven't her on your flist, I mean. It's so good, it'd be a tragedy if you missed a part!

Date: 2006-06-03 10:50 pm (UTC)1b) Yeah, I can definitely see the appeal. Plus, a girl should totally wallow in the shallow every so often. It's good for your health. *g*
3) Blushing Virgin Dean ficlet! Blushing Virgin Dean ficlet! *does a happy dance of happy*
5) Uuu, French music. Shiny. *downloads*
6) Hmm, you know, that should totally be the official episode summary. ;)

Date: 2006-06-04 12:57 am (UTC)Hmm sounds very interesting! I must see this episode : D
Do you know I showed my best friend one episode of TS and after watching the first five minutes she bluntly stated "They're so doing it!" and this is a girl who has never seen the show before. Now she wants to watch more episodes and has even suggested that be in our viewing future sometime after we're done watching QAF.
Hey what can I say? You lured me into the fandom and now I'm attempting to lure her! Now if I could only find the courage to attempt my hand at writing the pairing hmm...
