Yami no Matsuei! Kizuna! Yaoi fest- wheee
Apr. 14th, 2004 09:06 pmCame back from my little get together with Manu. I dragged him to Saint Michel and to some of my favourite shops over there, ie Manga and TV goodies shops, then we played lizards at the Luxembourg garden.
Tried to find issue 10 of the Angel magazine with the interview of Tom Lenk, but apparently it's for may? Does someone know something about it? Anyway, didn't find it.
What I found though was two issues of Magnolia , an anime magazine (like Shonen Jump for instance) specializing in shojo manga.
You know how some people would feel a little ashamed if they bought something kinky? Well, I was sorta feeling the same way but for the opposite reason lol The cover is all pink, with huge flowers on it, and looks so fucking mushy-sappy-sugary that you wouldn't believe it *shudder*
Why do I accept to face the cashier with my girly-girl Magnolia magazine? Well, because Yami no Matsuei is one of the manga that have been translated for the magazine- wheeeeee! Beside, there's also God Child, and hey Kaori Yuki, people!
The rest is... well, there's tests for teenies, and some other stuff I don't even want to mention and apparently a couple of het stories. Will avoid those, obviously. I was actually disappointed when I realized the last manga represented wasn't yaoi as I thought but definitely regular- the bishonen isn't a boy at all, just a girl disguised as a boy. Well, before everyone realizes who he/she really is, I suppose I'll take advantage of the ambiguous feelings that are bound to appear with the other male characters *eg*
Something I that was wonderful though. On the very last page, there's a presentation for two yaoi stating that Even Men have the right to love each other and I learnt that Kizuna will be translated as well! *bounces like crazy*
It was Fake last month, and now it's Kizuna's turn, I can't believe it! *twirls* I already have Kizuna in japanese, but man, now everything will flow so nicely *g* Can't wait for the first volume to be released *hugs self*

Date: 2004-04-14 12:37 pm (UTC)Dunno, tried to get it today as well, but they only had the 'old' issue. Thought it's because they ship it from the US and didn't check when the next issue comes out. =/
