Of The 4400, Grey's Anatomy and pics

Oh The 4400, how do I love you, let me count the ways. I've watched "Graduation Day" yesterday and dude, dude, that third season rocks so much! I keep saying it with each new episode but it's true! I want to hug it and pet it and call it George!
Insane!Shawn was love. Oh he rocked like a rocking thing, I truly enjoyed his little performance here. I felt so sorry for him; he doesn't get any break, does he? And then when he was finally better he had to face this 'new' Isabelle and he looked so lost too.
I was impressed actually that Isabelle's situation developped that way. Not even the killing spree itself since it was clear she was on her way to do just that but the fact that so many people now know what she's truly capable of. Usually it's the kind of thing that lasts til the last episode where everything is revealed but here everyone knows that there's something wrong with the girl and they all know she's dangerous. Brilliant!
And speaking of dangerous and all; so she's supposed to kill the 4400? Ohh the plot does thicken! It's so confusing, all right. I definitely wouldn't not like to be in Tom's shoes, wow.
Neither in Richard's. Poor Richard! He's not getting any break either, is he? It's like everything is going out of control and there's no way of stopping it, scary.
I've been saying from day one that I really liked Isabelle, in all her freaky and naive and dangerous glory, and that episode was really fantastic in that regard. That character is all kinds of awesome.
Oh and Alana! Dude... it's always the quiet ones, uh?
So yeah, another awesome episode. Next week should be great too - if we can trust the preview, of course. I wonder how much we can trust what they say. We'll see *g*
Btw, still no news on either the name of the artist or the title of the promo thingie? Cause I already have the short version and I have a serious craving for the entire song. You know the Need of the Fangirl, right? Well, this is this kind of need.
Then in the evening I watched Superman with tbf!Sandrine. That is, we were on the phone, each sitting in our respective homes and watching it together, chatting about everything and nothing. Life is full of small pleasures like that.
When she started getting tired we hung up and I moved on to Grey's Anatomy. I'm really enjoying that series. I'm not sure I do to the extent of downloading the new season when it'll air in the States but a) I still love it and b) you never know; sometimes you'll watch a show and like it just fine and then bam! An episode, or just a scene, will totally grab and turn you into an addict. Oh and Meredith is slowing growing on me.
Oh and completely unrelated now. So I was delaying the post of my Cimetière du Père-Lachaise pictures becauseI was so very lazy they needed editing and uploading and copying and stuff but I decided to copy Babycakes and I created my own BugBitten account - it's so much quicker that way - so the fourteen pics are over there if you want to have a look? The captions are in French but it shouldn't be a problem because when the gravestone belongs to someone famous there's a name, which you'll recognise, and if there's no name, then it's a random gravestone or just a general view.

OMG, yes! That's exactly what I was thinking. And as far as Isabelle goes? Now that's what I'm talking about. That is the kind of Isabelle I can get behind.
And I agree, poor Shawn and Richard, they really don't get a break. And Tom and Alana and just, there is so much love just thinking about that show, you know? *crazy*
Oh, and the pics are very pretty indeed. *nodnod*

Date: 2006-07-12 09:29 am (UTC)Yes, something I love with that series is how many awesome and interesting characters they have. I do have my favourites, of course, but I can safely say that I'm interested in all the characters and I never get bored or impatient with any of their scenes/arcs.
Thanks *g* I also uploaded my Londonc pics; though I think most of them were posted to my lj too when I came back.

Date: 2006-07-11 10:25 pm (UTC)(woke up this morning and watched SPN - definitely a very cool way to start your day!).
OH! last night I dreamt about my dream from my previous night with Don and Charlie (angsty - last night I was calling you to tell you about it), and I dreamt about Mulder, and then about a new show you adored (not sure if it's a real show or not, who cares - it was such a fangirly night!)

Date: 2006-07-12 07:57 pm (UTC)If I remember correctly, there was a massive pandemic caused by something from another time and place and humans were about to be destroyed by it, and there was a 'traitor' army to kill everyone who didn't want to be affected by the virus. Our Guy (the main character, obviously) was a kind of resistant who joined them to report their activities to the Good Guys.
That could work! when I woke up I even asked myself if it was a real show or not *giggles*

Date: 2006-07-12 12:18 pm (UTC)I mean, no, I do have fans of GA on my flist, but nowhere near the House ones, you know?
But I thought the show was nice and I really loved two of the 'secondary' characters and I realise the more I watch it, the more I like it. I'm also quite impatient to reach s2 so that I can see JDM in action. Seeing him as Denny - I think it was Denny - as opposed to Papa Winchester should be fun :-)
You're welcome. I also used the account to upload my Londonc pics - pretty much all of them, except the ones of your family and the inside of your house, of course. I still kept a couple of pictures of your parents' street I think... and maybe of the house itself, though I'm not sure. If you don't feel comfortable with the idea, just let me know, and I'll check, all right?

Date: 2006-07-12 01:01 pm (UTC)Yes, I come across a lot more people that watch House than GA, I must admit.

That would be weird but cool.

That's fine with me, hun, because it's not like anyone knows our address but I'll check with my folks when they come and visit me tomorrow ^_^!

Date: 2006-07-12 01:06 pm (UTC)Technically it won't be that weird in the sense that I knew JDM when he played in Burning Zone and he was not like Papa, so it's not as if I always associated JDM with that role, you know? But it'll still be weird, yes, cause dude - Papa makes such an incredible impression, you know?Difficult not to think of him :-)

Date: 2006-07-12 05:30 pm (UTC)Ahh, but I do, as I have never come across JDM in anything else so to me, he will always be John Winchester first ^_^!
