I'm feeling a little melancholic tonight. Henry and I had to go to my grandparents' place because of something we needed to do - long and silly story and it couldn't wait tomorrow - and it felt all weird because the last time I went there at night, it was on the day of my granddad's death and, I don't know, it just hit me - like being suddenly dragged down memory lane without meaning to, much less wanting to, you know? Sometimes it just gets to you, I guess.

But okay onto less depressing stuff - heat is still there, going out is still torture blah blah blah.

Also, I'm still in an anime mood and I've added some new series to my list. So I finished watching Sukisyo, it cracked me up and then made me want to cry. Also funnily enough, I recognised Sora's voice as being the same as Mira's in Papa to kiss in the dark not so much because of the voice itself but because of his crying. I was like 'dude, I already heard that weeping before, let me thin- oh I know! Mira!' Turns out the same actor dubbed both characters. Ha!

Sukisyo ep 12 happened and it was clear the series was over and I was curious as to what that thirteenth episode was exactly, so I watched it and awwww! *melts* Yeah, that was awesome. And sexy too *g*

Then I downloaded Princess Princess and moved onto Gakuen Heaven. I have both series sitting on my HD atm. Since I was at it I also picked Kasho no Tsuki - which was okay but nothing memorable - and then couldn't resist and downloaded Sensitive Pornograph again, which I'd lost during Clark's Third Death. Next in line... well, I still have a gazillion episodes of Legend of the Galactic Heroes to download so I guess I'll try to find some working torrents for that one too.

Poor Clark has been such a trooper! And now he needs to download Stargate and Psych - his job is never done, is it? *pets him*

Oh and before I go, I need to ask - does anyone know whether Wen Spencer intends to write a new Ukiah Oregon novel and if she does, do you know whether she'll include Atticus and Ru? Cause I totally fell in love with them ♥

Dude, they promised us rain and storm to cool the air off. I'm waiting! Actually, it's rained a little just five minutes ago so I'm hoping it'll rain again later so that we can, like, breathe during the day and also not need three daily showers *fingers crossed*

Maybe we could trade off? For a little while?

I knew it! I just knew it that you would love Atticus and Ru. They are so adorable - especially the scene where Atty figured out that he was in love with Ru :D But I don't know if there will be another book. But Wen Spencer has her own web page:

You know me too well, Kati lol I completely, totally fell in love with them both. I just love them on their own and absolulutely adore them together; love how subtle it is, I mean it's not like In Your Face or anything, but their love is so palpable and just so solid and just - yeah, I love them beyond the telling of it.

I've been so rubbish at watching anime lately, I'm still downloading all the series' though for a rainy day ^_~!

does anyone know whether Wen Spencer intends to write a new Ukiah Oregon novel

I have no idea but I got Bitter Waters and Dog Warrior from amazon the other day so I'll be reading those once I've finished re-reading Fire from Heaven ^_^!

Actually it wasn't the going back that was difficult per se, I've been going there at least once a week lately and it's okay now; it was the timing, I guess. Going there during the night for the first time since Last Time - it was as if the whole night came back to me, and it's definitely not a night I like to remember.

I'm seriously hoping she will because those two characters are so very awesome and they're such a beautiful couple too! Actually, I started with Dor Warrior so fell in love with Atticus and Ru first... even though they're supposedly addition to the series and not the primary characters of said series. And now to think that I might not find them again? It's really sad *pout*

*hugs* I'm sure you don't. I do understand what you mean though, music has the same power over me. If a certain song comes on the radio, I'm suddenly transported in my memory to another time when it was playing, it is a very strange feeling when it happens.
