Feb. 6th, 2007 02:58 pmI received an awesome phone call this morning and if it comes through I'll be a very happy camper by the end of the week. If it doesn't, well, nothing won't change. So it can get better but not worse. Isn't that just great?
There was a lot of squeeing and flailing about the latest Heroes on my flist this morning and now that I have watched the episode I'M TOTALLY JOINING THE SQUEEING FEST!
Okay so let's start with the end. So Nathan is Claire's father! He really is and DUDE! I was seriously hoping he was because holy shit man, the layers it adds to the whole thing you know? They're just everywhere! Nathan is Claire's father. Peter is her uncle! The girl he almost died for was his niece! He's her hero and he's family! And Nathan who thought he'd lost his daughter all that time! Now, I wonder if he knew about Meredith's abilities? Because if he did, and considering what he thought had happened to their child, it's no wonder he's so angry at the whole ability thing - so far, it's only bringing bad things to his life and causing harm to the ones he loves. Heee Nathan is Claire's daddy! *flails*
Claude-Peter is love, love! Tough and rough love - all the better, if you ask me *eg* And Claude threw Peter off the roof! I mean, not even a second of hesitation he THREW HIM OFF THE ROOF! Which, btw, I thought it was so much more brilliant that Peter didn't fly but healed himself instead. And I love how he's the opposite of Claude, how his powers come from love and affection as opposed to distrust. But it stands to reason, anyway, Peter is all about others, of course he'd have to remember them and love them to be able to control his ability.
Of course he's not exactly there, there regarding the whole 'control' thing but still I loved that scene. And Claude punching him? Was awesome. He does like it rough, eh?
Hiro is all kinds of brilliant and I squeed and cheered when he stood up to his father and then when he acted on his little ploy to make Father see what was right in front of him, ie a smart and confident daughter who could work with him. You go, Hiro! And you go, Kimiko! And for good measure, YOU GO MISTER SULU! Oh and did you see the registration number? NCC-1701! *dies*
Sylar is creepy as ever and I love him! Mr Bennett is creepy as ever and I love him too! His "He DIES" was awesome! It's really interesting having a show with so many players - we have our heroes then we have Mr Bennett - now helped by Isaac omg! - and Sylar and the Mysterious Linderman. Confusing much? *loves*
No Matt or Suresh. Next week, I guess?
Heee I love Heroes so much! OH and speaking of Heroes, look at that! Can you imagine? If some of the actors do participate? Heroes! In Paris! *dies*
Unrelated now - well actually, speaking of loving Heroes made me think of my love for Supernatural. Just one of those mental leaps, you know? - I've been playing with my del.icio.us account: I've started adding the fics I read there. Usually, I memorise the fics I really love and then paste/copy them so that I can have them on my HD - imagine the internets disappear tomorrow? I couldn't bear the thought of all those fics I've lost with it - but I decided to be even more organised and so del.icio.us is helping me do that. Also, it'll just be way more helpful when I need to rec stuff now. I'll just have to link to one of my tags et voilà. Also, bundle tag is love *nods*
Apparently the internets gave free rein to my inner - and so far kinda silent - obsessive compulsive. Just one of those things, I guess :-)

Date: 2007-02-07 01:49 pm (UTC)Yes, the parallel between Sylar and Peter is pretty interesting, isn't it? I can't wait for them to meet again, in particular once Peter is more in control of his abilities. Should be great!

Date: 2007-02-06 03:21 pm (UTC)Seriously. Even as I was trying to work today I couldn't get over how awesome that was. And add on the all the punching and wall slamming that was going on and I was pretty much in heaven.

Date: 2007-02-07 09:20 pm (UTC)This is del.icio.us (http://del.icio.us/), it's a place where you keep and organise your bookmarks so that you can access them anywhere, anytime. It's all kinds of awesome.

Claude is so damn manic. Lucky for Peter that he had encountered his niece before, eh? ;) And wow, how's that for connected?! And Claude's accent! Makes it a bit hard to understand at times, but it's a delight to hear him speak. :D
