1. Duncan - in Veronica Mars - drives an Impala? I'm suddenly finding him much more interesting! I mean, I still find him as dull as possible but at least the guy has good taste! And style too *nods*

2. This will come completely out of left field but I need to see whether anyone else remembers that show *points below*

So yesterday I was replying to

fairy_bliss' comment about what kind of ability I'd like to have if I decided to take the promicin shot - provided I lived to tell the tale, obviously - and ~~of course~~ I couldn't just pick one and so rambled about many of them and in the midst of it all I mentioned Evie Garland's power in Out of this World and then bam! Complete nostalgia. Accentuated by the fact that I actually found the opening theme of the show on this French site which I adore - it sorta is one of my Bibles.

Man, it brought me back! I was either in primary school or middle school when the show aired and I loved it! In the French version, namely Loin de ce Monde, Evie's father had the most gorgeous voice, I remember that well too. Mind you, I might think differently now but the voice I have in my head when I think of it makes me think I'd still love it now as I did then. Also, for the record, it'd seem Burt Reynolds was Troy's voice in the original version.

3. Speaking of dubbing and stuff; so I read the little section that introduced SPN in our TV Guide and the critics were apparently not impressed with aforementioned dubbing. Nor with the show, it'd seem. Er okay, that's how you're trying to make people watch the show? I'm not sure I'd have chosen to do it that way but, hey, what do I know, right? *glare* Not that people usually care about what is being said by those 'nos critiques' but I just can't help it, it always hurts me when people are mean to my beloved show *pets*
