So. As of Friday night, I'm back on-line. With a new computer/central unit. Clark is no more. Well, no, Clark is enjoying a peaceful retreat at my parents'. They promised to take good care of him.

In his place, please let me introduce you Dean Clark - in honour of his predecessor.

Dean is such a cool and strong name for a computer; Dean is cocky. He's resourceful and competent. He's unaturally pretty. Dean escapes Death on a regular basis and - something I love - even broken, he'll keep functioning. Can't get better than this *nods*

Changing the subject, now, am I the only Sad Person who kinda followed the Secret Story premiere last night? And who's thinking of maybe watching it every now and then?

The Esu and I were at the Teacher Persons' yesterday evening. And because The BIL can't not fix things if he can, he managed to fix their FreeBox so the telly was on in the background and Secret Story was airing and in between two chats we'd follow what was going on and I didn't even mean to but I sorta know the name of everyone now. I might even have a favourite contestant already - Erwan - and I'm also pretty curious to see how long the Triplets are gonna succeed in fooling everyone and - yeah, I might be a bit interested *cough*

I was a bit disappointed at first because, okay, what kind of secret 'being a naturist' is? Especially next to 'I decided to go through a sex change'! I mean, talk about unbalance! But okay whatever, that's how the game is so... I'll see whether the interest remains or if I forget to watch it altogether in a couple of days.

Now, I need to decide whether I really want to go out as planned, or if I just want to keep doing what I've been doing since I woke up this morning, namely laze around and catch up with my J2 reading. Decision, decision! Though first, leisurely bath for me :-)

PS: I now have all the episodes I was missing sitting on my HD. And it didn't take more than an hour each time! Oh, shiny new connexion, I love you so! And BitLord is love too!

My laptop is Dean, and my MP3 is Sam (it's weird because it's composed of mullet rock mostly :D).

You watched Secret Story, I did too but between Smallville's commercials (I already saw them but I have a crush on Clark's French voice :oD)
Par contre niveau décor ils se sont pas foulés, exactement le même que Loft Story jusqu'à l'oeil comme symbole.
Je pense pas que je vais suivre la semaine prochaine , ... mais au fait Heroes commence Samedi, ils vont mettre l'émission vendredi alors?

You're definitely in good company re: the naming of things. I love christening my computers; it's always a lot of fun finding the right name for them, then name that will give them strength and a long life :-)

Au fait, je t'ai pas oublié re: Dexter, mais entre la préparation du déménagement, le déménagement, l'emménagement, l'ordi qui m'a laché et tout ça, j'ai pas pu m'occuper de ton gravage. Si j'en reparle pas dans une semaine, n'hésite surtout pas à venir me le rappelr, ok ?

...it's sort of terrifying how well all of that translates onto a computer. Terrifying but completely awesome.

Mine is named Chester. I wanted a geeky name that would be Supernatural related...so yeah, Chester. ;) Sometimes, when I'm mad at him, I call him Chester Copperpot, but that is very rare. ;)

Secret Story c'est un nouveau programme de télé réalité qui passe sur TF1. C'est exactement le même principe que Loft Story sauf que le petit 'plus' c'est que chaque candidat a un secret. Ce secret, normalement le public le connait, mais évidemment personne dans le 'loft' ne partage l'info.

Le but du jeu, c'est que les participants gardent leur secret le plus longtemps possible, dans l'idéal jusqu'au bout pour que le dernier/la dernière gagne la coquette somme de 300.000€ Enfin je suis pas trop sure du montant mais ils gagnent du fric, c'est sur.

T'as des secrets assez nazes - je suis naturiste, par exemple - et t'en as d'autre un peu plus corsé, comme 'j'ai décidé de changer de sexe.' T'as aussi des triplées qui se font passer pour la même personne, c'est-à-dire que les deux soeurs restantes sont dans une chambre collé au loft et qu'elles échangent leur place avec la troisième régulièrement.

Enfin bon, c'est de la télé réalité donc faut pas espérer grand chose mais ça m'a quand même intriguée...

franchement avant d'entrer ds un truc pareil faut te mater tous les Big Brother du monde pour te préparer a toutes les saloperies qu'ils peuvent te sortir! lol

And I decided to stay in lol I stayed home and read J2 and it was of the good :-)
