I'm a translator! And I get paid for it!

Omg, I just realised that I'm now officially getting paid to translate stuff! Well, for the upcoming week at least, but - hee salary! In exchange of translations!

In other words, I got the job :-) Not for long but a job is a job. Especially as it's the Very First Time I work in a domain that interests me. Something that actually has to do with my studies and the degree I got. I never thought it'd happen *blink*

Mind you, some things are a bit sketchy and I'm waiting til Monday to have a talk with my boss because, okay, I'm a nice girl and everything, but I'm not stupid so I have some questions and I'd like them answered.

Still, in the meantime, I got the job!

I wanted to watch SPN as a reward for my first day back to work - ten hours today, I decided I deserved it - but it'll have to wait because we're celebrating my sister's birthday tonight with my godfather, aunt and cousins. Anticipation is half the pleasure, anyway, so I'll just wait :-)

Oh and alinewrites mentioned a show which sounded quite interesting but alas the torrent I found never took off, so does anyone know a link to a working torrent for the pilot of Being Human? Actually, does anyone know that series? Because it sounds all kinds of awesome: It features three twenty-something characters trying to live a normal social life, despite being a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf respectively, and it's a brit show! Always a nice bonus in my book :-)

Speaking of brit stuff; I've bought my Eurostar tickets for London, so - unless something happens to ruin it - I'm now officially going to London on March, 7th. The plan is to spend the day there with yami_tai before we head for Milton Keynes. And then, Wincon! Nice plan, eh? I think so too *g*

As for Being Human, it's indeed awesome. I loooooved it. It's just a pilot, so far, so we gotta hope that there'll be more. As for your torrent problem... I have the file, I also know where to get it except not in torrent form. Right now, there's no way my connection can permit me uploading the whole thing, so I hope you find it somewhere. If not, once I've moved to the new provider, I can definitely help you, but that's not going to be before at least two weeks.

Je suis intéressée par tous les métiers qui n'ont rien à voir avec le monde de la finance ! Non pas que j'ai été traumatisée par mon passage au service financier de la Sorbonne, hein, j'ai une bonne expérience maintenant dans ce genre de taf mais bon, c'est pas trop mon domaine donc maintenant j'essaie de me ré-orienter vers quelque chose qui me ressemble plus :-)
