french_hobbit sent me a text message telling me it's snowing in Lyon - I mean, you are in Lyon right now, right? And sockich is talking about having snow too. Why, oh why is there no snow in Choisy ? *cries*

I don't know why but I have the feeling it'll snow here when I'll be in England. And then it'll snow in London - or Milton Keynes - when I'll be back in France. Because sometimes Irony wants to marry me.

Anyway, let's change the subject and let's talk about a couple of things that are making me Really Happy.

First, of course, the news about Supernatural being - apparently - renewed for a fourth season \o/ katikat was the very first one to spread the good news last night and oh, it filled me with joy! My beloved show will come back to us next Fall! ♥ ♥

I couldn't imagine saying goodbye to the boys forever because a) I'm always in total denial re: an eventual cancellation of SPN and b) I thought s3 rocked like a rocking thing and I'm always in denial re: an eventual cancellation of SPN. Do you detect a pattern here?

A fourth season of SPN... it has a wonderful ring to it :-)

And speaking of: as turps33 would say 'only three sleeps till Wincon!' In three days I'll attend my very first fancon. Being surrounded with fangirls is the best, I can't wait! And I can't wait to see yami_tai again. Or morgan32 *bounces*

If someone had told me, all those years ago, that I would one day meet IRL people I met on-line... and that I'd get to meet with them not once but twice or several times; I would have laughed my ass off. And thought they were crazy. Life sure is funny sometimes :-)

And it's not fannish at all, but it does make me happy, anyway: being praised by my boss again re: my work. I don't think I'll get tired of this anytime soon :-) Seems his clients are really satisfied with my and fellow-translator's work \o/ Also, when I did my first translation I did it a certain way - format etc... - because I thought it was clear and organised and looked pretty that way. Though he thought it did look good, Mr Boss preferred I did it differently, which I did. Then on Friday we received a mail asking us to use what turned out to be my very own first version, because his clients thought it looked better. I totally rock, man!

I just love being able to take pride in my job, it's such a good feeling :-)

And finally, something that will make me happy, I'm sure, the season finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chornicles. Well, it'll either make me happy or kill me. Wait, or both. Especially as if it turns out we never get anything more, ever.

The news did come earlier than they were 'supposed' to, which is why I was wondering whether it was official or not, but everyone seems to think it is. The news come from several sources, including The CW sources (http://blogs.trb.com/network/cwsource/2008/03/big_news_the_cw_announces_earl.html), apparently, so...

Dude, they'd better not be misleading me or something, because I couldn't take the disappointment! *dies just thinking about it*

Yeah.

well, you can always count on me for enthusiasm over jobs - then again, you often end up with cool places to work (the circus, la Sorbonne...). Although, one word of warning: if you end up working for the RATP, I might have a little problem at first to be all cheerleadery lol

No, I still have to run for the tapes. I'm thinking the French Team will never get to see the m3 files, actually. That might be for the Spanish Team only... I sure wish I could get me some of those, though! Those tapes are such a pain!

PS: I owe you a mail, I know, but it feels like I can't concentrate on anything longer than comments today - the transcrip I'm working on makes me want to cry, I swear. I'm a bit sick and I have the beginning of an ear infection, which sucks like you wouldn't believe *cringe*

Uh. I don't know if Rosie's in Lyon but I am and I can tell you it hasn't snowed all day and still isn't snowing (I just went to check, afraid I'd missed it). It's been pretty cold and it rained a bit and is still sort of raining but no snow for me. So unless they have different weather in La Croix Rousse, I admit to being a bit baffled. You sure she's not in St Etienne? lol

And Yay for SPN! I read that last night and was very happy indeed! More boys! Wheeeeeeeee!
